What is Science of Mind? | Classes | More on Science of Mind | Area Practitioners | Resources Science of Mind ClassesThe Center for Mindful Studies promotes a comprehensive study of the Science of Mind in theory and practice that comprises the essence of the spiritual philosophy set forth by Ernest Holmes. Reverend Angela teaches scientific and esoteric principles during the nine-month scholastic year designed to cultivate personal and professional skills in the art and science of co-creative living.
How long does each class run?There are three trimesters in a Science of Mind year, and each trimester is 20 hours. When a student successfully completes 60 hours of studies, the Global Religious Science Ministries will certify him/her. An individual may audit any class we teach; you do not have to go for certification.
Science of Mind BasicsSTARTS SECOND WEEK, January, 2010

This is a practical and creative "how-to" series designed to remind us of who we truly are and how our thoughts, beliefs, and understandings- integrated with feelings of intent, create our experiences and conditions. Beginning March 23rd we'll meet for ten consecutive Sunday afternoons in the Strawbridge/Sandbridge section of Virginia Beach. The group will work together to: understand why thought has power; understand the power of choice; use the law of cause and effect; comprehend how the creative cycle operates; strengthen the powers of intention and attention; consciously cultivate the true power of mind; use intuition and synchronicity as a guiding tools in life; and overcome the limitations of fear and doubt. You can expect to come away knowing that all thought is creative and through conscious constructive visioning and thinking we can unlock the door to Infinite Possibilities. Science of Mind is a spiritual philosophy that opens the portal of your Highest Potential and expands your connection with the transformative channels of the Creation Principles. Science of Mind IIThe basic principles we study in first year are profound and not necessarily easy to embody and practice in our daily lives. Class is where we experience the practical application of principles. The process of regular Science of Mind class attendance is how we begin to embody a true change in our consciousness. No matter who you are or what the current issues on your path, in class you will find a new perspective. The support of shared insights and the opportunity to ask questions in a casual setting offer a learning environment not easily duplicated with solitary study. In year two you are going to learn how to personalize the same metaphysical principles, which the great masters throughout history have used to experience greater wholeness! Click here to contact us for current class information back to top Science of Mind III (Practitioner)Year three, Practitioner year is for students interested in becoming licensed professional practitioners. Prerequisite for enrollment is 120 hours of certified Science of Mind classes, and permission of the instructor. In addition, students may not enroll in this class sooner than 18 months after beginning a foundational class.We will travel together one step, one initiation at a time into another year of study. As you are able to hold a more expanded state, you will embody more possibilities within the field of your beliefs. You will continue making new choices, choosing new directions. If the path you are walking does not lead to greater joy, more grounded actions that lead to tangible results, more freedom, more love, more creativity, more flow; then the inner compass of your intuition will guide you to walk another path. You will be rewarded and renewed in countless ways, and in turn, you will reward, nurture and renew others who stimulate, inspire and uplift you. You will redirect your financial resources, and whatever illusory limitations you have placed upon that flow will shift into higher aspirations for your life and this beautiful world. You will now begin to link up, to join together in acts of wondrous co-creation for your fellow man. You will drop excuses and pretensions, as you choose to live, more and more, in the Science of Mind way. The ultimate aspiration is action. As you give of yourselves to yourselves, without sacrifice, without struggle, enjoying the manifestation of the inflow and the outflow and taking an active part in the practitioner process, you will become what you truly are ~ an abundant, loving Being of Light and you will know the Way of an authentic life and purpose.
