Holiness Materialized
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE HARMONIC CONCORDANCE?

In 1987 the planets and humanity
aligned with the heavenly down pouring of Grace and Hope for all mankind.
Opening a doorway for each of us to step through unto the Path of Illumination.
Millions of people gathered and globally embraced this moment opening
their hearts and mind and birthed what was called the HARMONIC CONVERGENCE.
That day shifted the destiny of mankind by swaying the critical mass
in a direction of global enlightenment. The Harmonic Convergence stepped
up everyone's vibration to the next level, so we all could get a glimpse
into our future, known and unknown.
That was 16 years ago. Since then we have been through more ups and
downs then we ever thought we could endure. Riding our lives bareback
at full gallop we have held on for dear life and light for many years.
No matter how loud we yelled 'whoa' our life would just not stop or
slow down. Every one and every thing has tried to buck us off of this
path of light and love constantly trying to discredit what was good
about the spiritual movement. Humanity has maintained a vibration of
love and hope through many years of good/bad, right/wrong, and light/dark.
On November 8, 2003 we have been issued another opportunity to move
forward into what has been called the HARMONIC CONCORDANCE.
The dictionary defines harmonic and concordance as follows.
HARMONIC: harmonious combinations of tones/energies simultaneously
heard in agreement or covenant. It is sometimes referred to as the
'vertical' aspect of sound, the parts agreeing with the whole.
CONCORDANCE: a harmonious state of things and their properties. Congruity
of parts with one another and the whole. Agreement of opinions, a similarity
between things.
The HARMONIC CONCORDANCE represents the Sound of the Soul and voice
of humanity aligning in agreement and echoing throughout the universe.
A day of discovery finding what has been missing on one's life and
self. All is aligned top to bottom, side to side, human to human, and
heart to heart.
On November 8, 2003 there is a full moon, lunar eclipse in a Star
of David configuration. The moment of the eclipse, which was named
The Harmonic Concordance by astrologer John Mirehiel, is thought to
mark a time when masses of people will awaken to their divine origin.
Many feel that a shared focus and collective intent can influence the
field of consciousness to such a degree that resulting effects will
be seen in physical reality.
All confusion becomes obsolete as humanity awakens to the internal
knowledge that this HARMONIC CONCORDANCE is a deep truth and remembrance
felt on a cellular level. If we were to put our humanness under a microscope
and view the atomic structure, we would find a thread of similarity
between us and all atoms of all life everywhere. The concordance is
going to assist us in ascending our consciousness deeper into the flesh.
It will become easier to access star gates and sacred places within
the core of our being. Remembrances will come faster. Truths will come
faster. Initiations, too, will speed up so that we can walk into the
heavenly aspects of ourselves.
TREATMENT:
We are one singularity of light living within the pluralism
of the Divine Mind. One form of creation taking part in the
knowledge of a greater system. We have the ability to move
in oneness with the Eternal God and are the image of holiness
materialized.
Today I align with the Lords of Light, the Shekinah Forces, and
the Hosts of YHWH to experience a greater knowledge and
intelligence by the coming Star of David. I open and fully receive
the new gifts this precious merkabah seeds. It has been said that
without Merkabah no man could enter into the Presence of the
Father for Merkabah is the emanation of nartoomid* returning to
the bosom of the Father. I accept the "great commission" that
is
being issued by the Hierarchy of Heaven. I am ready to move into
the next cycle of soul progression. Naturally and peacefully I
spiral beyond my present life to connect with the Crown of Glory
that awaits each child of God.
Thankfully I await the transmission of wisdom from this configuration
in the sky. It is one of God's scriptures of Light and its fullness
shall
serve all within its radiance. I am ready. And so it is.

- Want to Evolve?
In November 2003, Alexis Cartwright has been told the Celestial
Christ will anchor the complete crystallized gridding systems of
the Master Christ Template onto the planet. This will enable the
crystal Light-body to anchor, and then to be slowly resurrected
within all humanity and the planet. "All will transform into
a new dimensional reality and existence," she says, "by
2013."
The gridding systems within the Master Christ Template, are incorporated
in the Earth and cosmic Triangular Star Diamond Matrix templates.
These two systems will unite two master triangles into the Star
of David which symbolizes Heaven and Earth and will create a new
dimensional existence for all humankind. The integration is being
supported by the celestial Christ to create a New World. This engetic
gateway provides an opportunity for the accelerated spiritual
growth process of consciousness and physical ascension, in order
to become an "Initiate" or "Templar," that
is a Spiritual Master on Earth. The points within the
Star of David unite the Lemurian and Atlantean dimensions with
Earth to to create an energetic gateway for Earth and humanity
to access galactic worlds and healing energies of the heavens,
for mastership ascension.
What does this mean for me and you? The coming lunar eclispe
and harmonic concordance ushers in a boost of energy that increases
our spiritual "ping." Our humanistic landscape
is being fertilized with Christ consciousness at levels we have
not seen in thousands of years! New spiritual centers are
being opened in consciousness and there is nothing you have to
do to receive this wisdom except to acknowledge it and
claim it! You do not have to reserch anything, you do not have
to prove anything, you don't even have to understand everything
that is being explained - - - all you do have to know is that
you are now evolving. Naturally. Simply. And completely. Just as
the Universe is doing. Just know it and then be
open to receive it.
No hoping, wishing, or praying folks! Know what I mean?

TREATMENT:
I arise this day and present myself before the Beloved One
that always loves me into great joy and liberation. The One
that has loved all creation into expression and form. I attach
myself to the Father's love just as he attaches Himself to the
Sons of Flesh. This day I become the weight and measure of
heaven on earth.
As a dimension of flesh and spirit I ask that the Higher
Intelligence working with YHWH (YAHWEH), the eternal mind,
come into me and use me as a Light unto my fellowman. I empty
myself of the "confusions of the world" and execute the
redemptive
energy of the Body of Light consciousness. I consciously intone
the new frequency scriptures of the harmonic concordance. I
absorb and integrate the remembrance of the Christ body of Light.
This star in the sky comes to awaken my Inner Universe and
transfigure my biological field to more intensely radiate the presence
of Source spatialized in physical matter. Through this merkabah
gateway I shall overcome "conditioned limitations" so
that the soul
can be creatively reunited with the Christ Overself.
With gratitude, I celebrate the joy and wonder this divine prescription
brings to my life. I release this order of light to the Law of
Mind which
forges the spectrum of its existence perfectly in my world. And
so it is.

- Storehouse for the Eternal
AFFIRM:
I Am a host of the Living Light.
As physical flesh of the anointed Mind
I consecrate this temple of the higher garment with the
harmonies of the Father's words.
Min - Ha - Ada - Mah.
These vibrations radiate throughout the vortices
of cellular transmission and generate the perfection of All That Is
through my river of blood crystals.
This storehouse of Eternal energy now issues forth the
ability to demonstrate true acts of Christ consciousness.
I Am the flesh born to do the Father's work.
And so it is.

- Releasing Karma
Continue to be active rather than passive this week. Intentionally
get rid of what is not necessary to your existence or gets in
the way of the future you want. The flowing of energies coming
are fully supportive to the releasing of previous ways of being
that serve to keep you incomplete. Symbolically, the star of
David/star tetrahedron/merkabah is associated with the releasing
of karma. Many voices that lend their attention and guidance
to the greater heavens and vistas are telling us that the Earth
is entering into a phase when we will all have the ability to
transmute karma and live beyond our current polarity with duality.
Individually, socially, and spiritually, we will have the opportunity
to identify the most essential tasks for soul evolution and take
on the responsibility living in allegiance to that spark of Divinity.
Our hunger for the awareness of a deeper reality is about to
be satisfied bringing about a renewed sense of purpose and movement
forward into the Light.
With a new inner exploration we all feel the temptation to leap
forward by listening carefully to our soul guidance about all
choices. Healing, regeneration, and clearing karmic patterns
all are emphasized when living life from Soul and will
give you the greatest hit of energy, especially when you are open to
receiving instead of resisting. The Soul will always say, "Learn
what you need to learn, and go for resoulution." While
we work with the harmony of the cosmic flow this week recognize
that you can clarify expectations and contracts within the Self
and with others. By coming into cooperation with the higher forces
at work, you will attain that perfection that is unfolding
in all. Be a channel for light by using your ability
to facilitate it in all you say, think, and do.
Release yourself from the past, trusting that each day is new
and you are born again!

TREATMENT:
There's a Power and a Presence in this life that is always ready
to reveal
itself whenever I take the time to simply look. I begin right
now by
recognizing that this one power is everywhere present, in all
things and in
all people, and all cycles. I continue by realizing that this
Presence, which is
perfect love, absolute peace of mind, and unlimited creative
energy, is in me.
This day, I let this Power and Presence be more fully revealed
in my life not
just by thought, but in my words and my actions as well. I take
the time to see
a new unified field of potential and possibility in every moment,
ready to spring
into action at my acceptance of whatever it is the moment requires.Everything
is possible to this Power; nothing is beyond this Presence, and
I entrust it with
all of my needs for living a dignified and noble life. And
because this Power and
Presence is worthy of my trust, all that I need is given, or
released, before I even ask.
I let my relationships deepen
and reflect the beauty of life in every way. I
give thanks for the many people who bless my experience, and
I let my life
be a blessing to all. And so it is.

- Holy Harmony
Star Gate Opening

Often you speak of opening a ‘Star Gate’ or ‘Gateway’ for
energy. A wonderful time is planned for November 8 and
9, 2003 by your calendar. It is a time when many of the
planets in your solar system will be aligned in the formation
of a 6 pointed star. This will bring the energy of “As
Above, So Below.” This will be a time of a ‘StarGate’ opening
that will bring an even greater frequency of energy to support
your creations. You have had the ability to create “Heaven
on Earth” for all time. However, with this new energetic
vibration, you will be seeing even greater Synchronicity in your
life.
With this comes responsibility. You must realize that you
are The Creator! You are the Source! What do you
wish to do with your creation energy? No longer can you
be the victim. No longer do you need to be healed. You
simply stand in your power as God/Goddess and claim your part. Create
your “Heaven on Earth.”
As each of you does this, founded in the energy of Unlimited
Love, you will see that your World will continue to purify itself. Your
global consciousness will continue to “clean house,” so
to speak. When I speak with the words cleanse and purify, I am
speaking of energetic alignments that shift the consciousness
to that of understanding it is Creator. It reduces the “noise” in
the vibration and allows for the greater understanding of its “true
power” to shine through.
The answer to “Heaven on Earth” is one Being at a “time!” The
result is yours to create. What do you desire? Hold
the intention and vision with steadfast love and connect through
the Star energy to the Holographic Matrix of Creation. See
and FEEL the result at hand. Know there is only perfection. See
it in all that is before you. And I mean ALL! This
will bring about your desired Peace on Earth. Anything
less than THAT, continues to send a limited view to the Creation
Matrix and you are presented with that upon which you place your
attention.
When you see another Being or situation from the highest perspective
that you can, you are brining that Being or situation to a higher
level. You are bringing it out of judgment and limitation. You
are seeing it through the Star Energy within you. You are
seeing it as the Creator, who does not judge its creation, yet
simply loves it in its highest vibration of infinite, unlimited
love.
This is a most magnificent time in your journey. It is
no mistake that you chose to be here at this time, to play in
the Infinite Unlimited as it makes Itself known on Earth. Be
well my brothers and sisters.
TREATMENT:
The Divine Intelligence which expresses through each cell
of my Being is activated with light codes carrying the intelligence
of the Universe. They now produce the highest frequency
emanating as my Soul Presence through love and self acceptance.
Knowing the awakening in matter is pure consciousness, every
aspect of my physicality functions perfectly creating a synergetic
balance within which expresses as harmony. As I embrace my own
soulness I recognize my true power as it is expressed through
my
life.
I rejoice in my awakening and accept the flow of life from my
soul essence. I release these words into the light of the law
knowing they shine in my external world. And so it is.

- Conjunction of Heart
...and if I sought equilibrium by reaching ever outward, it was
only because I forgot...
Science of Mind values truth greatly. In fact, it teaches that
our practice begins with knowing the truth of what we want. It's
helpful, and sometimes startling, to realize that what we desire
is given to us. That is, we don't choose our what we want or
don't want. Our desires don't ask our opinion. The flow of our
desires arises naturally and spontaneously out of who we
are. For this reason, we don't attempt to alter desire. Rather,
we aim to alter belief, so that belief and desire are in agreement.
When these two come into harmony they form the key to every doorway
within all experiences. The grand design of this alignment can
bring forth the prosperity you seek, the love in your life that
you pray for, the twenty pounds you healthfully want to release,
the perfect job you want to draw in.
Living in line with truth means living in belief-agreement with
whatever we desire. In this agreement, or alignment we enter
a state of consciousness in which the fulfillment of desire becomes
real and present inwardly, then we rest in the feeling of this
fulfillment with an unwavering resolve. We are sculpted creatively
and create-fully on purpose, with purpose, in purpose. The Creator
of All That Is has not haphazardly slapped us together -- we
are beings of such vast power that it is beyond our ability to
remember! Each thought, each desire that we have represents a
nuclear explosion of Self. Take these desires deep within your
heart to a place of creation that believes you are worthy of
it all! Start the belief within yourself (not externally) and
your patterns of thinking will loose their boundaries and become
the megaphones that amplify the truth that you believe in yourself. This
simple formula for living in line with the truth of desire is
at the heart of our practice, and occasionally can seem
like a formula for miracles.

TREATMENT:
Today the cycle comes round again - perfectly reflecting
the Divine
Intelligence that created this Universe to begin with. In my
own being,
I resonate in perfect harmony to the One Source of all life.
This life never
ends; it only ever changes form.
Just like an artist, I recreate myself by aligning belief and
desire. I fully
embody the inner giving to let the highest vision in
me be manifest. I know
and understand what I need to know and understand to fulfill
my purpose for
being here. With every breath, I am brand new. I easily let go
of everything
from my past - my 'story' - that does not serve my highest purpose.
And I
boldly declare my willingness to be a powerful light in this
world.
I open my heart and mind to a direct experience of the magnificence
of God -
not just words, but a deep and actual experience that moves me
to a new
place in consciousness. I stand ready for the Divine Presence
to be
revealed; it's already here, and I'm ready to see it in all people,
all
events, all experience.
Everything in me is in perfect concord with this idea. I am ready
to know
that all I seek is already given. And so it is.

- You Know What to Do
This week, see with new eyes and listen with new ears in order
to hear the truth of something important that you have been
missing about who you've been willing to be. Trust your world
to teach you something surprising about yourself!
Each one of you believes externally for others. When you look
at another, you believe that they can succeed. You believe they
have the ability to heal. You believe they can grow younger or
older, thinner or bigger, richer or poorer. You believe externally
for them. This belief you have about each other does influence
the outcome of one another’s world, sculpture and creation
to a small degree. As a planet, what we believe about our
world, our state, our government, our laws, and our people as
a mass awareness has an affect on the world’s consciousness.
Each day you entertain a new thought about a new direction in
your life, something new that you would like to try on and see
if it fits yourself. You open options and opportunities that
were not available until you took an action on that thought.
That action could be applying for a new job, a loan for a new
home, looking for a new love, etc.
Each action that you take and each thought that precedes that
action then ushers you into a connection point of probabilities
and outcome that were not available before. So even though there
are many aspects of you that are designed as highways and byways
of the Self that you will travel, ultimately the outcomes and
the probable selves that you enter into are destined not pre-destined
by your choices.
Say for example that you had a dream and in this dream, you were
a great artist. But in your real world, you can only draw stick
people. So you say to yourself, I should take a class to learn
how to become artistic. I feel that I have that ability, but
I do not see it in my life. As you take the class, you find that
new abilities surface that were dormant from past lives, from
other dimensional selves, from other probable selves. And thus,
your artistic abilities surface. It would not have surfaced if
you had not acted upon a thought. To procreate the future, to
re-create in the future you must act upon the thoughts that come
to you in your relaxed subtle average thinking. Take an action
any action. That action could just be looking up things in your
phone book to see if such a course is available and maybe next
week you may call and maybe the week after that you might visit
there or even visit via the internet. Just by
taking a few baby steps forward into any of these thoughts, you
change. You change who you are. You change your abilities and
you draw to you new understandings and new vibrations and new
light energies that will escort you in to these hidden aspects
of self.
You have within you, every ability that is experienced by every
person on earth. You have the ability to be a great cook,
great lover, great financial advisor, great spiritual advisor,
great healer, great doctor, great artist, and great lawyer. Anything
that anyone on this planet can do, you have that innate
cell structure within your biological body to do the same. You
may not have the drive to do it, but you have the ability of
being able to pro-create from that cell, from that thought, from
that creational vortex. And thus, you each contain unlimited
potential. That is universal law! And there are no by-laws
on that!

TREATMENT:
There is only One Perfect Presence, the infinite source of
life. It is the
source of all Light, all Life, all Creativity, and all Truth.
And this Perfect
Presence is my source. It is always at work in me. It can
never be hidden!
I know that my life is pure Spirit, taking form as all that I
am...my body,
my personality, the conditions I experience. And whatever masks
those
elements wear, the truth is that I am the wholeness of Spirit.
I choose this
day to see behind the masks that I wear, and see the glorious
beauty within.
With a heart opened wide to deep compassion and understanding
of Self
I refuse to be frightened by what might be hard to achieve. I
choose to know
that the power of Spirit is greater than all conditions. I know
that the truth of
what I desire is greater than appearances. I know that Principle
is greater than
personality.
Knowing this, all masks are removed, and the only thing left
to
see is the Infinite love of Spirit, in all its forms. Thank
God for this
wonderful experience! I let this be so, and give thanks for it
continually.
And so it is.

- I am Knowledgeable
AFFIRM:
I stand in the grand central hallway of wisdom.
Rooms of knowledge spill forth through every doorway
to pool at my feet. As a creature of magnetism I absorb
the charge of it all. My electric properties run this new
current through the physical circuitry of the body and
KNOWING becomes my nature.
I am in sync with Universal Creative Mind. I know all,
understand all, and explain all with strength, conviction,
and confidence. And so it is.

- Be What You Want to Be
MEMO FROM HIGHER SELF:
You are in charge of birthing all you desire through your beliefs,
through you engagements of energy, action, and thought!
As these move into your heart space you start to see them
become externalized as your life. You are the only one that
creates stages and outcomes of situations that benefit your own
Soul growth. You, my dear self, have the ability in all
abstract events in your life to pull in divine intervention,
to rearrange what doesn't feel good, to rewrite the ending
to any story. The buck stops with you. You have the gift
of coming full swing into Godness if you choose.
All things, believe it or not, are at your beck and call and
creation.

TREATMENT:
There is One Presence that fills all life. It is a love
that flows, encircles, and swallows up all that has
been created. I am in tandem with this One Presence
as the spectrum of Me, and I celebrate it as my life
this very day, this very moment, even now this second.
I am One with that that is inherent within all spectrums
of the earth, of the sky, of the water, of the air, of the
stars and beyond.
Fro this foundation I bring forth "my purpose" of Being.
I put all else aside and take these moments to instruct
the mental body, the emotional field, and the cellular
structure of physicality about the Truth of me. I Am the
holiness of Original Creation editing life so that all sequence
of events are a performance of the academy of Selfhood in
allegiance to thoughts of healing, thoughts of love, and
thoughts of light. I did not descend from the Home Source
just to become absorbed in the beauty of Earthly materialism.
I came to move as a wave of ascended consciousness that
cares for, loves, and touches every space of life.
I sit joyously in this knowing, allowing it to move inward
and outward so that blesses all I embrace today. I graciously
place this dialogue of light into universal law witnessing its
benefits throughout the only life there is. And so it is.

- Evil?
What reactions do you have to the word "Evil"?
What images does it conjure up for you?
Has evil touched your life directly--or the lives of those around
you?
Evil is a misconception of idea and form. There is nothing in
the world or universe that is evil. Reverse the letters of the
word and you get "live." That is what everything is
about. How we personally chose to live our life is a testament
to who we believe ourselves to be. If we continue to think in
terms of good and evil, then we will never experience the truth
of the world of life. When we accept that some deeds are done
by others who have misled themselves and blinded themselves to
life, we realize that their evil is nothing but misconception
of their true worth. There is no evil, just a truth that is bound
in the clothes of life, that has not opened to the inner truth
of the Soul.
TREATMENT:
Today I awaken to my true nature, knowing that I am one with
God.
There's no separation, for God is all that there is. In perfect
Unity,
all that I see is my Self in all its forms.
The lines of definition between 'me' and 'the rest' blur, so
that I see that
I am my brother, and my brother is me. The people and situations
that
challenge me I am One with, and those that bring me joy. Far
from being
a defeatist way of looking at things, this is the way to true
freedom!
Without hesitation, I train my mind to perceive my Oneness with
all life.
While my mind is doing this, my heart expands to infinite degree
as I
experience this Oneness directly. I don't think about it; I just
do it.
Because this is what I AM, this is easy to do, and I do it from
this
moment on. I thank God for the brilliant perfection that is within
every
moment! And so it is.

- Self Acceptance
You Must Gaze Through Acceptance Before You Can See Perfection.

Acceptance is the beginning, the place of rebirthing memories and perceptions.
The sculpture of your life will be birthed through the willingness to accept.
Whenever there is a lack of acceptance towards others, then it reflects a lack
of self-love and self-acceptance.
Acceptance is that consciousness that allows us to finish unfinished business.
It is the consciousness of Oneness that allows forgiveness to take place. Acceptance
is a form of surrender, letting go of the attachment to how you think it should
be. To surrender is to display courage and wisdom. It is in accepting and letting
go of the past that we reclaim our power. Our divine nature shines through.
What are you willing to accept this day for your self?
• Accept the completeness and fullness.
• Accept the end and the beginning.
• Accept the silence.
• Accept the Oneness.
• Accept the infinite divine connection that is always there.
• Accept the bounty of love and beauty that is everywhere present in this
moment and each and every moment of your life.
There is a sweetness, tenderness and love in the One. As we step into the divine
consciousness of love and Oneness, all separation dissolves. The heart allows
us to see rightly and accept the abundance and creative infinite expression
of all mankind.
As we accept our wholeness and the Life Force that connects us all, we flow
gracefully into the dance of the spiritual warrior.

TREATMENT:
There is only One, and that One is God.
Everything I experience in my life is part of this fundamental unity that can
never be broken. Even when I perceive brokenness, I remember that it is the
pure and whole perfection of Spirit in disguise. This includes people, relationships,
organizations, nations, and anything else that comes along. I refuse to yield
to the worldly temptation to blame or to resent. I am no longer willing to
believe in a universe of anything less than perfection. While I do experience
a lack of harmony from time to time, I always remember it's just like a cloud
passing before the sun: ephemeral, temporary, and powerless to harm.
Every day, I review my inner habits of thought and belief. Whenever I discover
a belief that causes suffering in me or in others, I know that this belief
is ripe for healing. Since I do nothing of my own self, call upon the Infinite
Self to reveal the ways and means for healing to take place in my life.
I'm ready to offer my entire being up to the infinite intelligence of the beloved.
It always knows the best way for me to be brought into wholeness...my natural
state...once more. I'm done with claiming my good with the subtle condition
that my good can come so long as it doesn't disrupt my routine. Anything I
need to do, to know, to release, to understand, or to practice in order that
I may experience my own innate wholeness is now accomplished by means of this
word.
I am rooted in the Spirit, and everything my life contains or will contain
is the fruit of that rootedness. I am totally, utterly, and irrevocably blessed!
And so it is.

- The Journey of Surprises
To follow a spiritual path is to try, with your utmost despite
setbacks, to be obedient to the divine within and above yourself.
Over the years, there is one thing you learn about this endeavour:
it's a journey of great surprises.
Ralph Waldo Emerson the 19th century American philosopher-poet,
reminds us that we often get in our own way here and fail to
be surprised because our own expectations of particular results — our
belief that we know what it is we are meant to discover — preclude
the gift of the unexpected. What we think we want gets in the
way of what the Over-Soul (God) is offering. Emerson taught that
true discovery is always made obliquely or at a "slant" as
I call it rather than directly because of our plans.
He tells us in one essay: "I prefer to say with the old
prophet, `Seekest thou great things? Seek them not.' Life is
a boundless privilege, and when you pay for your ticket and get
into the car (i.e. a train), you have no guess what good company
you shall find there. You buy much that is not rendered in the
bill. Men achieve a certain greatness unawares, when working
to another aim. ..."
The conscious desire and effort to have special moments of insight
or inspiration can prevent their occurrence. It's important to
be sincerely seeking to know and do the will of God; but, without
a specific shopping list. To repeat, life is a series of surprises.
Emerson says we don't guess today "the mood, the pleasure,
the power of tomorrow, when we are building up our being." Certainly,
with regard to ordinary matters — acts of routine and sense — we
can tell somewhat; "but the masterpieces of God, the ...
growths and universal movements of the soul, he hideth."
To be open but to prejudge nothing, he says, is the recipe for
new and unexpected knowing. In the Bible's Book of Psalms, my
own favourite section, this patient and obedient approach is
called quite simply, "waiting upon God." The Quakers
or Society of Friends, as they are called, know all about this.
They make it a practice to wait upon the inner light.
Robert Frost echoes this same truth in a poem where he finds
himself walking disconsolately through a snow-filled forest one
day. Suddenly a bird takes flight, dislodging a flurry of flakes
that come glistening down. The moment takes him by surprise and
its soul-imprint saves "a day I had rued."
I had a similar experience recently while out with our dog. We
were hiking through apple orchards and fields — and for
no particular reason a sense of melancholy, which we all can
experience occasionally, had settled around me.
The clouds were heavy, with light rain falling, and there was
a hint of approaching winter as leaves tumbled in the wind. Wedges
of geese passed noisily overhead.
Suddenly I noticed a sound of Caribbean voices singing. The sun-drenched
lilt of Jamaican accents floated down through apple-laden trees.
Several workers from the distant island were perched high on
ladders happily picking fruit.
As with Robert Frost, my low spirits faded miraculously. The
last time I saw these men they were pruning the bare trees while
snow fell all around. Now, at full cycle, it was harvest again.
I felt strangely stirred, and my soul took sudden flight. Like
C.S. Lewis in his book of that name, I was "surprised by
joy."
The surprises, however, are not all such little ones, as you
travel on. Sometimes they're quite monumental. That's what has
been happening lately in my life. Ever since first planning to
enter seminary years ago, two major concerns have been constants
in the back of my mind.
One mirrored the other. The first was the deeply painful awareness
that religion, in spite of all that can be said (and there is
much) in its defence and praise, is almost universally such a
divisive, disruptive, too-often violent element in human affairs.
Never mind the rivalries and hostilities between different faiths
for a moment. Consider the absurd phenomenon of over 400 different
brands of Christianity all claiming to have an edge on the others
regarding truth.
What's truly distressing is that even within each of these there
are many different factions claiming spiritual superiority! The "saved" think
they know who is "unsaved." The "spirit-filled" have
it over the non-charismatic. The orthodox look down on "liberals." It's
a mess.
What others and I have been seeking has always been an answer
to the question: is there some deeper spiritual vision that can
bypass all of this — inter-faith and intra-faith splits
alike — and hold out promise for the ultimate unity of
all humanity?
Today I'm being surprised by the answer coming through.

TREATMENT:
Today I choose to open my heart to experience the presence of
God no matter
what is happening in my life. Because God is the only presence,
the One
Perfect Source of all things, it is fully and completely present
in all
people, all situations, and in every moment.
The vacillations of my experience do not change this eternal
Truth! I can be
aware of the presence of God when I am happy and when I am not,
when my
body is healthy and when it ails. Rather than be at the mercy
of conditions, I
recognize them for what they are - mere shadows of the greater
truth.
Throughout the day, running through my mind like a river, the
idea that 'God
is in this' keeps me centered and awake. Whether I remember or
not (and I
do!), God is present. Whether I call for it or not (and I do!),
God is present.
There is nothing to heal, for everything is the perfection of
God. Knowing
this, all conditions reflect it immediately. I put my attention
where it
matters. And so it is.

TREATMENT:
God is unlimited power, present everywhere. I am the evidence
of
a wondrous and generous creator, for I too,
am the presence of
that unlimited power. Today I make use of It on my behalf
to
produce results that benefit every area of my life.
All that I imagine that I want to experience and accomplish is
supported by the laws of cause and effect, and God's grace.
I
know Universal Mind is receptive to every desire and patiently
awaits my alignment so that it may spoil me lavishly with riches.
I commit to think and act in ways that will enable abundance
to
fill every aspect of my life. This enlivening spirit of prosperity
is freely expressing in and through me enhancing my life and
the contributions I make in the world. I am fulfilled simply
by
the anticipation of good fortune. All that I can imagine will
be
mine.
I allow the universe to declare my majesty, and celebrate the
precious love of God living in my heart this day. The abundance
of this inner soul contentment delivers me to a higher realm
where my highest potential is already lived. And so it is.

- What is Evil?
The question of why human beings are capable of intentional evil
has bedeviled philosophers for millennia. If God is all-good,
how could He create a world that contains evil beings? So many
solutions have been offered to this enigma that one might be
tempted to shrug one's shoulders and move on. But I believe this
would be a disservice to us all. For the light that study throws
on this question also illuminates a deeper query, "How can
I deal with evil in my own life?" For from a place of understanding
see, principle and practice are one.
Evil which is the emptiness of being, comes through filling oneself;
good, which is fullness of being, comes through emptying oneself.
Evil is stuffing oneself - it is no wonder that the primordial
evil of Adam and Eve involves eating - thus leaving no room for
God; good is giving of oneself, making of one's being a temple
so that He may dwell within. This is accomplished through self-surrender,
humility and silence; that is to say, by being the "silent
witness".
So how is this self-surrender into goodness to be achieved in
your daily rough and tumble life? How do you open to the greatness
of good, especially when pinned on the horns of moral crisis?
A vital clue may be found by studying Mary during the Annunciation.
What is it that Mary does, that is different from Eve when tempted
by evil? When Mary finds herself in the presence of Gabriel,
and archangel "whose thinking process imitates the divine," who "receives
undiluted the original enlightenment" (Pseudo-Dionysuis,
The Celestial Hierarchy, 4:2), she turns to him for guidance,
asking, "How can this be?" Eve, by contrast, listens
to the serpent. In the language of hierarchy - that is, of the
divine order that governs the cosmos - Mary seeks counsel in
that which was highest, while Eve gravitates toward that which
is lowest. And what of we, far removed from the biblical worlds
of Eve and Mary? To what high angel may we turn for guidance,
when faced with a choice from good or evil?
Christianity has always offered a single answer: we may turn
with confidence to the light of conscience. What, then, is conscience? John Henry
Newman defines conscience with characteristic grace: "Conscience
is the voice of God in nature and heart of man . . . it is a
messenger from Him, who, both in nature and in grace, speaks
to us behind a veil." Conscience, then, is to each
of us what the archangel Gabriel was to Mary; the emissary of
God, the manifestation of His presence within the heart, a moral
compass that points the way toward divine truth.
In the Philokalia, that astonishing collection of texts on Christian
contemplation, St. Hesychios of Sinai, an eighth-century desert
monk, advises using a spiritual method in which, "watchfulness
is a continual halting and fixing of thought at the entrance
to the heart. In this way predatory and murderous thoughts are
marked down as they approach." Here Hesychios is speaking
precisely of conscience, whose role it is to stand guard
at the heart's gates. Temptation will never be avoided in this
life, as we know. But temptation can and must be "marked
down," transfixed before it enters into the heart, the most
intimate chamber of our being.
So your part my friends is quite simple, stay ever watchful.
Being present and watchful will bring joy, hopefulness, an understanding
of ourselves and our sins, a mindfulness of death, true
humility, the unlimited love of God and man, and an intense and
heartfelt longing for the divine.
Attentiveness is the heart's stillness, and in this stillness
the heart breaths and invokes union with God.

TREATMENT:
My soul does magnify the Lord!
Wherever I look, I choose to take the leap; I open my heart and
mind to the
greater possibility that is within me, waiting for me to say
YES to it. I
have opened my mind and heart to believe that the infinite creative
source
in me can take this vision from divine inspiration to divine
form.
I choose to let myself be drawn by the deeper love within me
- the love of
what my heart, my soul truly desires. I let go of small mindedness,
outdated
modes and models, and I let beginners mind be vitally alive in
me.
Perceiving the presence of God in all things, I lovingly acquiesce
to what
is so right now. Without having to rush off to change things
or make them
difference, I stop. And I see the presence of the Beloved in
all. I court
this experience of transparent, awakened vision every day. I
use the
spiritual tools at my disposal to open up even more than I once
thought
possible.
From this heightened state of consciousness, I choose to commit
to my vision
for myself, my community, and my world. I don't have to hold
back- I already
know where that leads. I take the leap with absolute trust, knowing
that my
heart is open and ready for the Guest. My mind is clear and receptive
to an
awareness and experience of God.
I can see with absolute clarity, and I commit to live so this
state of
consciousness lives forever in me, blessing everyone whose life
I encounter.
I give thanks for the majesty in each moment, and I now know
myself as a
powerful blessing to this world. And so it is.

I Will Sing a New Song", p. 206
“
The old song of my spirit has wearied itself out. It has long
ago been learned by heart so that now it repeats itself over
and over, bringing no added joy to my days or lift to my spirit.
It is a good song, measured to the rhythm to which I am bound
by ties of habit and timidity of mind. The words belong to old
experiences which once sprang fresh as water from a mountain
crevice fed by melting snows. But my life has passed beyond to
other levels where the old song is meaningless. I demand of the
old song that it meet the need of present urgencies. Also, I
know that the work of the old song, perfect in its place, is
not for the new demand!
I will sing a new song. As difficult as it is, I must learn the
new song that is capable of meeting the new need. I must fashion
new words born of all the new growth of my lift, my mind and
spirit. I must prepare for new melodies that have never been
mine before, that all that is within me may lift my voice unto
God. How I love the old familiarity of the wearied melody - how
I shrink from the harsh discords of the new untried harmonies.
Teach me, my Father, that I might learn with the abandonment
and enthusiasm of Jesus, the fresh new accent, the untried melody,
to meet the need of the untried morrow. Thus, I may rejoice with
each new day and delight my spirit in each fresh unfolding.

TREATMENT:
I live in a universe that is by nature abundant; this universe
is by nature
loving, and it is by its very nature whole. I choose today to
realize what's
always been true: that I am one with this Universe, that I always
have been
one with it, and that I have access to all its good, whenever
I open my mind
to receive it.
Today I awaken to my noble self, realizing that I am a powerful
center of
creative energy in this universe, a place where life is delighted
to flow
and flow with ease. I stop playing small, and realize that I
have a great
gift to offer the world, and I do it with joy and with the knowing
that this
gift flows through me; it's not of my own creation, but of Spirit.
I give
this gift, whatever its form, freely. Whether it is parenting
my children
with love and respect, offering my best in my work, loving my
partner with
all of my heart, I do it with the full and complete understanding
that
Spirit does this action through me.
I relax in the knowing that everything is just fine, that the
power of
Spirit is flowing through me, that this universe is a safe and
wonderful
place to be. And my life blossoms in joy. And so it is.

- Horn of Plenty
The cornucopia or "cornu Copiae" is, literally, the
horn of plenty' and was first introduced into the English language
in 1508. The Cornucopia, which symbolizes abundance, is usually
seen as a curved goat's horn, filled to overflowing with fruit
and grain, but which could be filled with whatever the owner
wished. The Cornucopia has always been associated with Thanksgiving
in the United States, though it was a symbol long before this
holiday existed. Man has always been thankful for the abundance
provided by Nature. The Cornucopia originally came from ancient
Greek mythology and the term is carried on today with a similar
meaning.
The oldest account of the origin of the Cornucopia tells that
Zeus (Jupiter) was committed by his mother Rhea to the care of
the daughters of Melisseus, a Cretan king. Amalthea, one of the
nurses, hung Zeus in a cradle from a tree, so that he could be
found neither in heaven, nor on earth, nor in the sea. They fed
the infant deity with the milk of a goat. Jupiter broke off one
of the horns of the goat and gave it to his
nurses, endowing it with the wonderful power of becoming filled
with whatever the possessor might wish. So the 'Horn of Amalthea'
became the symbol of plenty, and whoever had it in his or her
possession would never starve.
The horn of plenty was regarded as the symbol of inexhaustible
riches and plenty and became the attribute of several immortals.
Another story tells about the fifth labor of Hercules. Hercules
fought the river-god Achelous, who could take the form of either
a snake or bull. Achelous failed to defeat Hercules as a snake
and changed into a bull. Hercules ripped his horn off and diverted
the river. This land became very fertile, and is a reference
to the horn of plenty. Then the Naiads took the horn, consecrated
it, and filled it with fragrant flowers. In the Roman version
it was the Goddess Abundantia who adopted the horn and called
it "Cornucopia".
TREATMENT:
Today I begin the day with gratitude; I know that there is a
power in
gratitude that opens the heart and makes me and my life ready
for even more
blessings. I take stock of all the facets of my life, and notice
that even
where I am feeling challenged, there is a blessing to be thankful
for.
Any time I'm being challenged, it's not a test from the infinite!
It's
nothing more than spirit opening me up so that I may hold more
light,
reflect spirit more perfectly, and be made whole. I refuse to
look at
challenges as punishment, and I get rid of any ideas that the
path will
always be fun or pleasurable. I know that the universe is spiritual,
and I
put my trust in the spiritual laws of this universe. I know that
under any
situation, I can be carried forward in strength, in grace, and
in a clear
understanding that even in confusion, Spirit is present. Even
in painful
times, the support and comfort of Spirit is right in there with
me.
By seeing in this way, I am able to give thanks in all things,
rather than
just the things that are pleasant or easy. And gratitude keeps
me open to
receive the guidance, the support, the strength, and the wisdom
I need to
walk confidently through every day of my life. And for this,
I am indeed in
a state of perpetual gratitude. And so it is.

- Odyssey of Wholeness
AFFIRM:
I am the awakening of the Divine One.
The living odyssey of wholeness restoring the
divine blueprint of creation through the magnifying
power of love. I take all of life and passionately encode
it with the Christ principle. In this way I project a powerful
healing that effects the entire planet. By living love, I infuse
the collective with truth, empowerment, healing, freedom,
mercy and compassion.
It is truly heartwarming to be the fertile loom of God's
essence. I joyously weave laughter, love and kindness
into this family of light. And so it is done. Amen.
