01.01.04 - Cresting a New Year
T
R A N S F O R M A T I O N
As we crest the milestone of another year lived, humbled and polished
by time, let us remember that our lives are bigger than we can
ever know or imagine. Each life has its own force field with a
creator soul propelling it -- guiding it even from the absoluteness
of Divine guidance. Today is the perfect day to intend living fearlessly
by allowing yourself to breathe daily into the depth, wonder, beauty,
craziness, and strife that represents the fullness of your life.
Declare that you are going to take from every experience what it
has to offer you. At times we're determined to make changes; other
times we are given a nudge to take a spot in life that could lead
us into undiscovered territories.
Whatever the perception, insurmountable joy or big-time crash,
know they are all experiences that point you toward an amazing
course of self-emergence. Our life journey is one of transformation
and change so why not dissolve all your frustrations here and now.
Consider that the lessons from our life experiences can make us
appreciate the joy of growing into ourselves. Living life day by
day, breath by breath, step by step is the only way to be everything
you were meant to be! 2004 could be the year to shift into a whole
new universe! The writer Joseph Campbell once said, "We must
be willing to get rid of the life we've planned so as to have the
life that is waiting for us." Let 2004 develop you into a
new person with traits and interests your old 2003 self didn't
have.
This year give beyond reason. Care beyond hope. Love without limit.
Reach, stretch, and dream in spite of fear. These are the hallmarks
of divinity - traits of the immortal - your badges of honor as
a spiritual being, along that sometimes dark road that leads to
enlightenment, and the way home .
You are a pioneer into illusion, an adventurer into the unknown,
and a lifter of veils.

TREATMENT:
In the infinite consciousness itself lives the vision and recognition
of the uncontradicted truth that all life is shrouded by a unique
and
stable source of existence. A source enchanted by the Mistress
of
Creation to rediscover the "I" of self-awareness. I am
born of her
movement and appreciation for a world appearance as Spirit's
sparkling depths. In the clearest moments I know I am an intentional
action of universal truth which can never change.
It is this knowledge that empowers me to declare that I am a spark
of
light through which cosmic truth shines. I cannot be limited by
the
countless reflections that constitute the appearance of the world.
I
am a Creational Force in human form that is here to love all that
I am
afraid of, to look at what I am afraid to look at, and to send
love to
that which still scars the soul. As Spirit's celebration and renewal
of
love it is now time to honor myself during this human enterprise.
I
pledge to gift myself my own divinity, giving expression to that
secret
essence in the deepness of my heart. From this inward realm the
soul's
constitution blesses me with the remembrance that I am holy and
birthed from a place of love and warmth that comes forth into a
livingness
that escapes all knowledge of her true form.
My heart is open to the future of a new year and the opportunity
to
celebrate something every day! I am God's living definition of
something
transformed by the recognition of its own nature. And so it is.

- The Path of Love
What is the basis of assent to anything? Its appearing to be true.
It is not possible, therefore, to assent to what appears to be
not true. Why?
Because it is the very nature of the understanding to agree to
truth,
to be dissatisfied with falsehood, and to suspend its belief in
doubtful cases.
What is the proof of this?
Persuade yourself, if you can, that it is now night. Impossible.
Dissuade yourself from the belief that it is day. Impossible.
Persuade yourself that the number of the stars is even or odd. Impossible.
When anyone, then, assents to what is false, be assured that he does not willfully
assent to it as false--
for, as Plato affirms, the soul is unwillingly deprived of truth--but what is
false appears to him to be true.
Well, then; have we, in actions anything correspondent to this distinction between
true and false?
There are right and wrong; advantageous and disadvantageous, desirable and undesirable,
and the like.

TREATMENT:
Infinite wisdom resides within all peoples of life. It is the knower
that knows how to do and be everything. It is the power of life
within each living creature and the sustainer of life everywhere.
Divine Mind contains all understanding. I am alive within this
perfect knowing, and It is alive within me.
I take time every day to dispel the cloud of fear and sorrow that
punctures the global community. I acknowledge that all are sacred
and special. They say that anger is just love disappointed, so I
silently enter into the wisdom that all are anointed with the
magnificence of Spirit. With positive expectancy I envision all
people loving one another and reaching the promised land. Right
now, my life becomes this greater expression of love, grace, and
wisdom so that God's purpose is lived on earth.
It is a privilege to hold my fellow man within the heart of God. I
stay in touch with my divine center, and by doing so, I am assured
my life is a blessing to all I meet. Gratitude veils my being as I
release my word and know it comes into perfect expression in and
as my life. And so it is.

- A New Idea
From
How to Change Your Life by Ernest Holmes
A New Idea, pg. 122
Sometimes a situation arises wherein you need an entirely new idea, and you have
no way of knowing what it ought to be. In that case there is no specific thing
to claim; only an idea; but claiming an idea, even when you do not know what
it ought to be, is just as specific as though you were claiming quick shipment
of goods, a job, money to buy a house, or anything else.
If this vague something - an unknown idea - is such that it would solve your
difficulties, accept it. Then the central part of your creative prayer-time might
be worded something like this:
Father, as my Business Guide and Counselor, you are supplying me with exactly
the right idea so I can meet all requirements. I am grateful that even when I
do not know the specific idea I need, your all-wise mind does know.
I shall not permit myself to be worried or hurried about any new plan. I now
accept the idea I need and the wisdom to handle all the details intelligently
and successfully. The right idea becomes known to me. I accept it at this moment.
At the right time it is presented to me and I shall recognize it. But, right
now, this instant, I know that it is already mine. I accept it thankfully and
know I have the ability to carry it out faithfully, happily, and enthusiastically,
knowing that it shall succeed richly.
I do my part as a worthy junior partner in making life a success.
This experience of accepting an idea when you have no information whatsoever
as to what it ought to be, is one of the most satisfying you can ever have. Assure
yourself over and over that your prayer if fulfilled. Don't worry if many days
go by without there seeming to be any response. You may be sure that the right
developments are taking place. Your affairs are rightly being attended to. Steps
are in progress to bring your new idea to you, together with the necessary knowledge
and plans for its complete fulfillment. Be still and wait. Believe. Accept.
TREATMENT:
Since I am one with the One that creates all, my desires are
as real as I allow them to be. I now choose to see that my
wishes, dreams, and hopes really exist. My word makes a
powerful impression and impresses my heart with soul
felt desires.
From this day forward I believe in myself and know that I
deserve every good thing the Lord makes available. God
fills me with the right and perfect idea of what is needed
in each moment to gift my life with the light of his spirit. I
trust my truest desires and plans within his counsel. Any
fear or doubt does not have a place in this process, so I
let it go. In its place is excited love for what can be.
Only the very best arrives at my doorstep. My biggest
dreams come to me. I know they exist in the Mind of God,
and, as such, are manifest in my world. Gratefully, I accept
with all my heart that my wishes are gifts from God, which
I now create and share. And so it is.

AFFIRM:
I speak my Truth with clarity and authority,
knowing my word always accomplishes its purpose.
I am secure in
knowing my perfect good manifests in right action and order in
accord with these truths. My life
flows in a crystal clear direction as I rejoice traveling the path
that
lies ahead.
And so it is.

- Start with Today
Our experience
of our lives is determined by the qualities of
feelings with which we feel ourselves.
The blank slate of another day stretches before all of us. There's
no question that the arrival of January imbues us with a sense
of readiness for something new and better than last year's fare,
and our course, this readiness can be useful. In larger terms though,
and from a broader perspective, linear time ultimately has no native
reality, any more than do the lines on a map that divide continents
into countries. These boundaries are notions of human imagination,
and so are the hours of the day, days of the week, and months of
the year. What we refer to as "yesterday" brought us
tragic news stories, economic challenges, and moments of personal
experience. I offer you this suggestion and it works on any calendar
date, and at any hour: Recognize that we live at a point of eternal
present, and in this place we name the past and label the future
according to events that spring into our existence. So if envisioning
a whole new year is too much, just start with today. Today is a
good day to question our learning and the wisdom we have garnered
from the world within and around us. It is a good time to feel
the promptings of our inner being that invite us to emerge newly,
and to carry newness into expression. From your own quiet place
within set intentions for a happier, lovelier you. Create a day
that allows you to be in agreement with the version and vision
of the self you choose to be. My own intentions, just for today,
are to love a little more deeply than yesterday, to collaborate
more fully, and to forgive more completely. This will allow me
to feel more loving. loved, and lovely as I endeavor to contribute
my part of creating a world that works for everyone.
Don't put off today what can be rearranged tomorrow!

TREATMENT:
There is one source that is love, one presence that is the lover
and the beloved. That source is God, and it is what I am now
and for eternity. I am the heartbeat and vision of this loving
Presence expressing Itself in form, constantly aware of the
internal whispering of a divine strength.
There is no time but today. Today is all I need to absorb the
creative abundance that is the very form of this universe. This
day is big enough for all my wishes! Time is a fiction that can
only take from me the things my mind has made. I declare that
I am a power of love that confidently shapes divine goodness,
resides in the world as delight, and leads others with spiritual
inspiration. I live a deep conviction of unity that is love's glory.
This living allows me to trust in myself, and to know anything
I need is available to me now.
The answers to all the burning questions of my soul are within
me
for the heart of God never lied. I find myself empowering others
by
my example as I climb into the peace of another day. I am grateful
for what I am about to find today as the universe bends to satisfy
my lust for greater expression. And so it is.

- The Way of Progression
There
are amazing lessons held within the busyness of each day so let
me serve as a reminder today to heed the insights gained daily.
In the Mind of God there is no such thing as wasted time. Every
moment of every day is a creative experience of Spirit that flows
through you. Rise up and wise up to the truth that it is our nature
and not our will to be creative. While waiting in a line, recognize
the moment in which you can stand there fully aware and mindful
engaging in the simple spiritual practice of "staying present".
There are many paths and zillions of ways to celebrate the Life
Force within. It does not matter how you choose to do it, it only
matters that you do it! If you don't have an idea of how to work
with the love intelligence of the universe then I encourage you
to take some of the thoughts below and intend them into your life
each day. These are just some of the easy instructions that hold
the secrets to your discovery of your Godness within because they
have a profound, loving purpose. Their nature (the energy of intended
use) steers you towards a greater consciousness and bless the nooks
and crannies of your personal universe because they will work their
magic from the inside out developing a Truth within that shines
through you touching all in your world. The path of being Spirit's
namesake ~ a living, breathing, talking and walking emanation of
the Most High God Self is one that only requires your devotion
and attention.

THE EASY RULES TO REMEMBER
1. Focus of attention includes identifying what stands in the way
of progression and inner fulfillment.
2. In all cases, use past reference points and current challenges
as a means of clarifying what works and what doesn't.
3. Hold out for what has real meaning and is right and proper for
you. Stay alert, and take in the things that resonate with you.
4. Pay attention to what you attract. Apply the concept of the
law of attraction to establish a deeper understanding of who you
are
and what you are putting out.
5. Establish goals that are truly related to the core self.
6. Find the balance of attention to your inner life, personal relationships,
and responsibility to your job, career or aspirations in order
to actualize your potential to make a difference in the world,
while enjoying the challenges that make use of your innate talents
and skills.
7. Empower yourself when confronted with difficult relationships
that are not going to go away. Positive outcomes will emerge if
you
have the courage to take a stand.
8. Thoughts are very powerful and indeed create the reality you
are experiencing. Use all thoughts wisely.
9. Be conscious of what you have created and what you are now creating.
Bring in the mental discipline necessary to think in affirmations,
seeing solutions, thinking outside the box and including the wisdom
present in your heart as the primary source for guidance.

- Liberation Through Laughter
The
image of the Buddha reminds us that there's intimate association
between laughter and liberation. Jewish numerology ( the Kabalistic
Germatria) similarly teaches that the Hebrew words for victory
and laughter are numerically equivalent, which means the two imply
each other: of course, victory brings laughter; far more profoundly,
laughter can bring victory since causal processes are reversible.
As a New Thought philosopher, I pay more attention to the form
of a person's beliefs (the "how") than the details of
whatever they are reporting (the "what") because beliefs
show themselves in form while often hiding in content. At this
more subtle level of form, problems themselves are unfailingly
described with a seriousness one might associate with bankruptcy
and antidepressants. Certainly, if I were to suggest that they
make light of their troubles I could come off as insensitive and
thoughtless. The suggestion, however, offered with an intuitive
awareness of the person's readiness to let go of a problem's seriousness
and see its silly side, at the right moment can be instantly liberating.
This is because it is a universal truth that we don't suffer situations;
only our beliefs about them. This doesn't mean that there aren't
painful situations. It just means that we will not suffer the pain
if we remain aligned (if beliefs and desires remain in agreement
and so, free from contradiction).
It may seem hard to imagine at first, but who hasn't had the experience
of looking back at some awful time and wonder what all the fuss
was about? Situations that seem like the end of the world when
they happen are often recast by hindsight and wisdom as something
far less serious, and we laugh at how much more we made of them
than they were. I suggest that since each of us is the author of
the story of his or her suffering that we liberate ourselves to
rewrite the story, and since the only time we have is now, now
is as good a time as any for the rewriting. None of this, of course,
is an invitation to trivialize pain. Begin by knowing what you
want and accepting things as they are. But suffering is something
else, something added. The co-worker who drives us crazy, a job
that we lose that we truthfully won't miss, the end of a relationship
that was more a battle than a blessing -- these things are not
without a lighter side, a side that, if we would only claim it
now, would leave us feeling grateful for the so-called problem,
and free to laugh it off. Such a shift in identity goes beyond
a change in attitude or even perception. It changes the world.
When we laugh, even in the face of adversity, we set into motion
a universal efficiency that brings victory.
This week experiment with bringing a lightness to serious matters.
Be playful and watch how universal organizing intelligence participates
for the highest and best developments and outcomes.

TREATMENT:
There is One Presence and Power always and forever
expressing Itself in perfect and right ways. The universe
is continually beaming me with energies to support honesty,
laughter, self-reliance, adventure and strength because I am
the evolution of its free flight. I know this is what my life is
coming to be now.
I release any fear, worry, or doubt, relying on a Power greater
than I to pursue a path in line with the truth of my being. I
can playfully enjoy each moment of my day because past
resistance(s) are healed and overcome. I move forward focusing
only on the possibilities and potentials within me and embrace
that I am divinely led into perfect and right situations. Each
day is another step closer to my intended destination of wholeness.
I am filled with new growth and new avenues of exploration for
my highest and best expression.
I am grateful for the trust I have in my purpose, in my choices,
and
in my choosing. I am grateful to the Spirit that I can feel as
It brings
my anticipated good closer and closer. This word is my absolute
truth. And so it is.

AFFIRM:
Everyday of my life is a new beginning as eternal being!
I walk in the glow of unconditional love and the flow of divine
activity!
My life is an expression of infinite abundance and permanant prosperity!
Consciously I stay available to the highly charged thoughts of
God!
The vibration of pure joy is activated within me right now!
Insights of love transform my entire beingness!
Thank God for being God!

- The Law of Faith & Belief

This Thing Called YOU by Ernest Holmes
Chapter 1, pg 13
The barriers between you and your greater good are not barriers
in themselves. They are things of thought. It is because
of this that all things are possible to faith. Jesus summed
up the whole proposition when he said, "It is done unto
you as you believe." In interpreting this saying, however,
you must pause after the word as. Think about its meaning
and you will discover that he was saying that life not only
responds to your belief, it responds after the manner of
your believing, as you believe. It is like a mirror reflecting
the image of your belief.
While the laws of mind, like all laws of nature, are neutral,
good must finally overcome evil. Evil is a negation. Good
is positive. Like light and darkness - darkness cannot overcome
light, but light can neutralize darkness. This is why Jesus
said if you seek the Kingdom first "everything else" is
included all things in this life that make for full livingness
and joy, peace and happiness, health and harmony, and the
success that rightfully belongs to a Divine Being.
The only warning Jesus made against the use of this highest
law of your being was that it should not be used destructively. "...for
all they take the sword shall perish with the sword." The
Kingdom of God contains everything that is or could be disirable.
This everything already exists as a potential something to
be drawn upon. You may use this potential for any good purpose,
not only with certainty of success but with safety. It is
only when we use natural forces wrongly that they can destroy,
and it is ordained that this destruction be of a temporary
nature.
You wish to use the laws of your being in such a way that
they cannot bring evil to yourself or others. Therefore,
you must be certain that your desire is toward more life
for everyone, including yourself. If you follow this rule
you cannot use the law wrongly.
There is a law of faith and belief which is just as definite
as any other law in nature. This law utilizes the Creative
Principle of Life in such a way that all lesser uses of It
become submerged. This is the triumph of Spirit.
TREATMENT:
There is a power for good in the universe, available to everyone,
part of
each soul's journey, and I can learn to use it wonderfully.
This power is my
power of attention, for what I contemplate, I become. This
is the eternal
spiritual law, and nothing can stop it. I can rail against
it, complain
about it, or whimper about life not being fair. But ultimately,
it is done
unto me as I believe.
I know that in truth, life is just. My habits of attention
and perception
literally create the experience I have in the world. I choose
to pay
attention to that which is life-supporting, that which nurtures
and
encourages. I choose to place my attention on that which
draws out of me a
greater self, a stronger identification with The Self. This
isn't about
ego-boosting; it's about soul-freeing! I see the world as
the play of
spirit, unfolding from unseen substance. I see the actions
and choices of
others as spirit's action through the form of others. There's
nothing to
fear here, for we're all part of the same great soul, all
on the same team.
I refuse to think in terms of separation or duality, and
because I think in
terms of unity and wholeness, that's what I experience. Because
I discover
the purity and the beauty and the grace even in the middle
of absolute
chaos, I find an unshakable order within. Nothing can faze
me, for I am
rooted deeply in spirit. And for this I am grateful. And
so it is.

- Field Trip
ATTENTION
PLEASE ...
Yesterday I was contacted by Higher Management and, since
I reach so many of you via the internet, was asked to assist
with some paperwork that apparently got misfiled or lost
in the main offices of The Pearly Gates. It seems that some
of our "Community Service" agreements have disappeared.
As I understand it, before we come in to perform our mankind
community service hours we must sign a permission slip so
that God is not held liable for anything we forget while
we are here. Will you all please take a few minutes to fill
out the following paperwork for your angels and guides, then
tonight just slip it under your pillow and its intention
will be delivered back to its rightful place in management's
files.

Resource Development Area for Incarnating Souls requires all entities under the
age of 2,000 to provide proof of permission from your Higher Self or Guardian

- Dream

To not know and honor that you are a forever being, with as many
second chances and new
romances saved up as there are stars in the night sky. Whose thoughts
fly on wings, whose
dreams become things, and for whom all the elements bow is a very
betrayal against the soul.
TREATMENT:
I am created out of the One source of infinite life. All that I
am comes
from this one God, one life, one mind, one intelligence. This One
is the
source of all power to create, to heal, and to bless. It is a powerful
source of healing and of restoration. There is nothing that cannot
be
accomplished by the power of this One.
Every idea I've ever had has come from this one perfect Source.
Every desire
has arisen from it. Every dream has its roots deep in this source.
I choose
today to realize that my dreams and desires for my life, whatever
they may
be, come from this source with all that is needed to bring them
into full
fruition. I'm never given an idea without the accompanying power
and
ability to bring it into full form.
Today, I reassess the dreams I hold for my life. I think deeply
about what I
would have my life contain. Knowing that Spirit can accomplish
anything I
truly believe in, I set my sights on a higher vision, and know
that the
power of Spirit can and does fill this potent vision with its creative
power
and wisdom. Today I accept that this infinite power is right now
flowing
through the ideas I have for a life of love, compassion, abundance,
and joy.
Whatever my vision, Spirit now fills it with itself. I am also
filled with this
powerful spiritual presence, and I know it. And it is good. And
so it is.

- Reawakened Master
You
Cannot Miss the Path of the Reawakened Master.
The path of the forgotten master is well-worn because it has been
walked upon many times. It is an inviting and appealing path, one
that seems to say, "Enter me and you will discover you".
What could be better? But it also says, "Discover you and
you will enter me, " which is one of the most forgotten, overlooked
and misquoted spiritual truths of all time. Masters forget because
they must forget in order to continue learning. They do not forget
because they did not get it right or because they need more practice.
Masters forget in order to re-create themselves within new contexts,
paradigms and environments.
In 2004 those who are willing but have not yet gained a foothold
on the path of the awakened master will find it and/or secure it.
The paths of the awakened, reawakened or remembered master are
one and the same. Do not be misguided by semantics, because a path
is much like a vibration or frequency: It is something you sense
your way into. It is always best to establish a relationship before
becoming intimate within it, and this is no different. Your path
is already set to intersect with mastership, so you need not steer
a different course. But whether you sail into its cozy harbor or
collide with its iron gate is up to you, do you see?

TREATMENT:
There is only unity held with this glorious universe. This
unity is our truest source. It emanates peace and restores
balance to all things in all places. The way of the one has
arrived within my consciousness and silently immersed
my will to its disciple.
Today shall be a better day than yesterday, and tomorrow
a brighter image than today could possibly be because I am
surrounded and guided by a companion of Infinite Intelligence.
An aspect of divine mastership that has always known how to
respond to a heart that desires for mindful restoration of the
true self. A Presence that unconditionally reveals its nature
to the human enthusiast when asked. A fragrance that engulfs
the entire being with a resurrected passion for love and light.
This is the alliance of Mastery, and this is my remembering now.
This is what is real, this is what I decree and know about myself
as absolute truth. I savor it and celebrate the freedom that I
am.
I am filled with deep gratitude knowing as I let this mastership
dawn, I become a light unto all others. Mastery is both knowing
and not knowing, doing and not doing. It is this balance between
the two that brings peace and wisdom to this seeker. And so it
is.

-Spirit's Raw Power
To embark
upon mastery is to embark upon the path of service.
Although mastery and service are unique and distinct from each
other,
they are never separate. The first hatchling in the nest often
steps all over
itself, but in so doing, it helps crack open the shells of the
other hatchlings
who might be having a harder time, perhaps because the shell is
thicker or
the egg was placed at a more difficult angle. In any case, purposefully
or
inadvertently, the first are here to assist the rest.
TREATMENT:
The universe is illumined by a spiritual intelligence that
goes beyond description. It is this exact ability that makes
itself known to every cell within all life forms. And so it is
that I am the spirit, grace, and action of this knowledge as
the human connection.
I welcome a day that allows me to see more of myself as a
Master of creation. Today becomes a wider doorway of
understanding, a passageway for Spirit to escort me to
higher levels of livingness that comes to a fullness of
alignment with the grandeur of Light that is held within
my original vibration. From this thought forward I know
myself to be the clearest expression of mankind achieving
mastership. All that I am is brought to the Kingdom of Light
that lives within so that I may unfold from this inner grandness
thought by thought, word by word, practice by practice. I
remember that I AM the pure, raw, undiluted power of Infinite
Intelligence awakening once again. I find memories, truths, and
powers that give me the ability to fly past my personal perimeters
into an unlimited sky view of my future. I am free to Be, to Choose,
and to Become.
I stand in the middle of the circle of higher truths and thank
the
universe for using me as a clear and perfect channel for the highest
light and truth to come through. I am Spirit's dance of love masterfully
ascending into more light. And so it is. Amen.

- The Way of Progression
The
Spiritual Significance of Relationship

Relationship represents the greatest challenge for the individual, for it is
only in relationship to others that unresolved problems still existing within
the individual psyche are affected and activated. Many individuals withdraw from
interaction with others, so they can maintain the illusion that the problems
arise from the other person because one feels disturbance only in his or her
presence, and not by oneself.
However, the less contact is cultivated, the more acute the longing for contact
becomes. This, then, is a different kind of pain - the pain of loneliness and
frustration. But contact makes it difficult to maintain for any length of time
the illusion that the inner self is faultless and harmonious. It requires mental
aberration to claim for too long that one's problems in relationship are caused
only by others and not by oneself. This is why relationships are simultaneously
a fulfillment, a challenge, and a gauge to one's inner state. The friction that
arises out of relating with others can be a sharp instrument of purification
and self-recognition if one is inclined to use it.
By withdrawing from this challenge and sacrificing the fulfillment of intimate
contact, many inner problems are never called into play. The illusion of inner
peace and unity that comes from avoidance of relating has even led to concepts
that spiritual growth is being furthered by isolation. Nothing could be further
from the truth. This statement must not be confused with the notion that intervals
of seclusion are necessary for inner concentration and self-confrontation. But
these periods should always alternate with contact -- and the more intimate such
contact is, the more it expresses spiritual maturity.
TREATMENT:
The Universe is Love. Not merely filled with it, but it is created of
Love; every part and particle vibrates with this power and presence and
possibility. Because I am one with this universe (there is nothing else
for me to be one with!), I, too, am made of Love.
This day in particular, I remember that my very nature is love. When I
am challenged in any way, I know that the answer always lies in loving
more fully. When I fear, I remember that perfect love casts out fear.
When I doubt, I return my attention to the truth: that love is big
enough to embrace even my doubt, making it - and me - whole.
This power of love is what heals. It is the power that causes growth and
change and evolution and transformation, and it's at work in me today. I
set the clear intention to remove the barriers from my heart, that I may
love more fully, live more completely. I forgive wherever forgiveness is
called for, and I include myself in that reckoning. I call upon this
power of love to love through me without condition, without exclusion,
without hesitation, and without delay.
I open my life to relationships that are passionate, loving, and joyful,
and I see this reflected everywhere. I allow my own inner nature, my
true natural state, to hold sway and love all creation by means of me.
The result of this: a life that is lived in joy, at peace, and at one; a
life that is truly worth living. I give thanks for the lawful nature of
this universe that now reveals this love in all that I do, say, and
think. And I know it is wonderful. And so it is.

Our point of power is to find the light within
ourselves and illuminate the world from inside out.

In noticing those who walk in the light, I witness certain qualities
that permeate their beings. They are always available to help a
person or a group in need of growth. They include as part of each
day, prayer and meditation. There is no criticism or blame that
passes their lips. There is a gentleness that surrounds them like
a soft breeze. In all of their work there is a continual gradual
flow of upward mobility. The body temple as a whole is smiling
and the awareness of aging is absent. The power of the Presence
vibrates from within out. They are empowered with a trusting, childlike
faith. There is the willingness to change thoughts, belief systems
and habit patterns courageously.
This is the work of a life that is consecrated and dedicated to
releasing its sacred gifts! This can be your life too, you simply
have to be willing to accept for yourself the work of the journey
to becoming a lighted being. Commit to living your life within
the integrity of God's perfect plan! because the truth is, no matter
how feebly you begin -- whatever you're capable of summoning, imagining,
and moving towards is what the universe will shine upon and through
you.

TREATMENT:
There is only one Presence, one Life, one Spirit, one Intelligence,
one
Universal Heart, one God, one divine and pure and whole, holy field
of
possibility and potential. All it does is make things out of Itself
in
infinite variety, and it does this by becoming that which it makes.
This is truly an amazing understanding! The very power that created
the
entire universe did so by becoming the universe. And the very same
power
that created me, did so by becoming me: all that I am is this power,
taken
birth as me.
My life, my personality, my "issues", my past, my mind,
my likes and
dislikes, and all that I know myself to be has arisen from this
one source.
Since this is the case, I don't need to struggle for another moment.
There's
nothing to battle, no enemy to fight. It's all God. And because
this
universe is the way it is, everything I see has within it an intelligence
and a consciousness that is totally whole. Even the parts that
appear to be
broken are whole; they're this Infinite Spirit in the guise of
brokenness.
I expand my world by living the truth of this universal wholeness.
I change
my understanding of my life by lifting my vision to see this bigger
picture.
In the process of doing so, all the stuff that seems 'tricky or
hard' is made
right. And for this, I am always and ever grateful. And so it is.

AFFIRM:
I am alight with the Allness of Being.
My practice this day is to keep reintroducing the beauty of
this illuminated thought because for soooooo long I have
forgotten that I have always been whole, that I am God
inspired, that I am the Creator, that I am love.

which is already together in essence. Indeed, and so
the experience is.

- Sacred Ordinary
Today
we hear from Thomas Moore, author of Natural Religion, Discovering
Spirituality Deep in Ordinary Life.
It becomes clearer every day that we live in a world cut off from
the healing depths of its soul. The soul gives us character, individuality,
connection, and humanity. But the soul flourishes only when we
bring to it daily care, when we take time to be with others, to
connect with nature, and to work at what matters. Many years ago
something inspired me to use the ancient phrase "Care of the
Soul" in place of therapy, cure, growth, or improvement, and
as time goes on I see ever clearer the value of those words.
Spirituality has a dark side, a negative shadow that can be problematic
and even dangerous. By discovering the spirituality deep in the
sacred core of ordinary experience, spirituality can be enriched
and grounded. A relationship with your own soul will help you find
meaning, healing, love, and understanding without integrating anything.
You can be a holy person without doing it right and most unconventional
of all, deepening and intensifying love, desire, pleasure, and
beauty without understanding any of it.
TREATMENT:
The universe is an absolute, sublime order that is always flowing
into
and out of form; revealing and concealing itself in perfect bliss.
This
universe is infinite, all intelligent, and completely empowered
to
accomplish whatever it sets out to accomplish. And what is true
of me is
that I am made of this stuff; created out of the infinite perfect
presence of Spirit, out of this one pure and perfect order, always
revealing and unfolding and discovering my preexistent, inherent
self...which is perfect in every way.
I perceive the natural harmony in every moment. I experience the
flow of
my life with ease and delight, moving swiftly when the currents
are
swift, and drifting easily when it is drifting time! I don't get
out of
joint because things don't go as I expect; I go with the flow of
harmonious creation, and let that creation create in me a sense
of deep
and abiding ease. I don't push the river, but let it lift me up
and
carry me forward. This universe is an easy place to live in and
prosper
in and love in and create in, and I go about my business believing
this
truth with all my heart and soul.
The natural, lawful result of this: my life works, and it works
wonderfully! In care of my soul, something in me perceives the
order and harmony within, and trusts in that so implicitly that
nothing can discourage me.

- Expectancy vs. Expectation
I found
myself explaining this concept to another today and decided I would
share with you all the understanding of the difference between
expecting a desired result, and holding an expectation of a desire
result. While some may interject that I am splitting hairs, I believe
there is a great difference between the two. Each has its own intention,
one born more from will and the other flowing more from soul.
In the process of using thought as a creative template, when you
hold an expectation of the desired results, the template that you
are using is no longer pure with flexible movement of ease. It
becomes rigid and brittle in requirement, the expectation of a
certain pre-envisioned result and predetermined effect. Expectation
holds the template of creation captive to the way it ought to be
or should be, based on your memories of the way it was or your
dreams of the way it ought to be. These ideas are all envisioned
outside of the power moment, the Now moment. As they are envisioned
outside of the Now moment they hold fear. Fear is but an outcome
of thought and, in this case, also a precursor of thought. Can
you see how expectation imprisons thought?
Expectancy, on the other hand, emits a glorious energetic pulse
of freedom and clarity. Expectancy is born in the Now moment, the
moment where God lives. Where God lives, love lives ~ and love
is flexible, free, fresh, flowing, joyful and aligned with clarity.
So expectancy is not purely directed for it just is. When you,
as the God filled creator of your reality holds expectancy towards
a thought, you offer the awareness and knowing of yourself as Creator.
In doing so, you render clarity of an outcome that is love-based
and honoring of truth, not requirement.
Expectation is born more from the ego self, while a feelings coupled
with an attitude of expectancy is birthed more as a gesture of
soul. The expectancy is aligned with the remembering that you embody
a Christ consciousness that has always believed in the Self. A
Self that knows you are one being, individuated to explore yourself
from many vantage points. But you are nevertheless One. Remembering
that is your expectancy.
So be it,

TREATMENT:
Life always knows what it's doing, and it knows it in me. The One
intelligence that created the entire universe, the One presence
that
inhabits every part and particle of creation, and the One spirit
that is the
energy of love behind it all. I don't have to do anything or become
anything
to get plugged into this spiritual reality; I'm already there.
Whatever it is that the soul of my life needs right now comes to
mind, and
comes to mind as complete; it comes to mind as already being accomplished...
because the universe does what it does in my life experience based
on what I believe.
Rather than thinking I have to know how to do it all, I allow the
expectancy of
the spirit within me to do it. Theirs is a clarity that the infinite
intelligence in me
knows how to do it. And I let the unlimited power of expectancy
that resides
wherever I am love whatever's before me. And that includes myself.
When I
need an answer, it's there. When I need to understand, understanding
arises
effortlessly within me. And when I need to love more fully, live
more joyously,
and act more wisely, it's done. Because it is done unto me as I
believe. And I
possess an expectancy of the best. And so it is.
