- Lead Your Heart

KEEP ON THE PATH
If you create something you do not like, you can change it. What you
create you
can un-create.
If conditions do not loosen their grip on you, perhaps you are not in your effective
place. Consciousness establishes its own conditions. If things in your outer
world are not moving fast enough, you need to clear your consciousness. Perhaps
you are not doing what you really want to do and are trying to use willpower
to make things happen. Don't try to go through the stone wall. Go back in consciousness.
Change your idea, change your evaluation. Resistance, obstructions, and opposition
could mean you are off your path.
Get still and let the new idea come through. Find yourself on your right path.
Here things work smoothly, joyously, and powerfully. Stop struggling and forcing. "Not
by might, nor by power, but by my spirit." Let God be you.
TREATMENT:
The power of Spirit to awaken me to my own spiritual nature is at work in me
even as I read these words; the Infinite Presence of Life is culminating in
its latest wonderful evolution in me this very moment. I am part of the
Infinite Universal Presence, created out of it, with all the wisdom and
power and creativity it has. I've always got access to this creative power
for transformation, and I let that power go to work in me this very day.
Knowing that Spirit is always at work in me in this way, I wake up to Its
workings and work with it. I daily set the intention to open my mind and
heart to experience my own spiritual nature. I daily set the intention to
receive the good that is here for me. Every day of my life, I choose to give
the best I have to offer the world, and in every moment, I give thanks for
the blessings that are everywhere around me.
I let myself grow and change, not holding onto the good from the past, and
opening to the greater good that's blossoming in all people and things. I
call it forth. And I am ready for this; there's nothing in me that resists
this opening in any way. Any places of fear or confusion are now filled with
clarity and courage. And for this process of unfolding, of awakening, I give
thanks. Because it is done. And so it is.

- Saint Francis
During
these challenging times, each of us has the opportunity to inwardly
introspect on what may be our own aggressive tendencies. Sometimes
we think, „Oh, I‚m a very peaceful person. I just love
everyone!‰ Try this: Walk down the street and look directly
into the faces of others. Objectively observe how your mind chatters
about appearances. You will be amazed at the overt and subtle ways
in which aggression manifests.
Aggression of thought has its own vibratory potency, and it begins
and ends with us. It is good to often pray the prayer of Saint
Francis, „Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace.‰ Mean
it. Saint Francis' lesson was to heal the struggle he had with
his vision of God. After a strong and powerful illness he came
to an understanding. He saw that he had tried to equate "goodness" with "love
of God," and they were not the same. Early one morning as
the dawn began to break, when all was very quite and still, he
heard a bird outside his window -- in a totally new way. In the
power of the song of that bird he understood! The way to love God
and the only way was to hear God's voice in everything. In the
mist of his physical healing he realized You love God through loving
God, and not from anything else. He knew, absolutely, that there
was no separation between the sounds of the world and the "Voice
of God." The birds that sang, the cries of the dying, the
scream of the mad, in the despair of the leper, in the moans of
the abandoned child. From that moment on, Francis could never again
separate out any call for help from the God Source he knew to be
Real.
The only difference between you and Saint Francis is that he came
to know God was absolutely real and that he could be in touch with
that reality at any time. He knew it, with all the power of his
being. You also have that same potential. Go out today and be touched
by the life and lessons of Saint Francis -- know that every moment
you are speaking, you are not speaking to others; you are speaking
to God.

TREATMENT:
God does not move without purpose. The gathering momentum of
a spring storm, the light scent of blossoming flowers, the dusting
of nature's fairy dust (pollen) -- the infinite varieties of change.
It is
all the voice and form of One life, that life is God's life and
that life
is my life now.
Today I follow in Saint Francis' way, the way of one ordinary man,
with one extraordinary desire! To know I am a part of everything
is
the deepest teaching of my dear friend, Saint Francis. No matter
what my eyes might tell me, or what some pain might say; I can
never be separated. In the end, as in the beginning, it is all
God
and I am part of that Whole. And so are all that I see, speak with,
and reject. I move into allowing space for awareness this day so
that I may notice any contradictions that arise from within my
own
mind that create separation from the life of God. I believe there
is the
possibility for changing my belief structures so that I can come
into a deeper, fuller, intimate contact with the knowledge of
God's existence. Today I come as a brother/sister to this Source
that surrounds my very nature.
Thankfully, I remember that you can love God without being "
good". And you can be very "good," and have no love
of God!
God plays ALL the roles and I wish to experience all of him now.
I let this be so, and the experience is. Amen.

- Lunar Eclipse
Last
evening there was a Scorpio Total Lunar Eclipse. Not that we let
our lives be ruled by anything other than our consciousness, but
this aspect got my attention when I read about it. Eclipses amplify
the human experience of cosmic influences, so this Scorpio full
moon is more concentrated and intense than most. Astrologers believe
that the time when the Scorpio full moon occurs is generally the
most emotionally intense time of the entire year! The moon in Scorpio
exaggerates primal reactions, causes releases and stirs up unconscious
material, bring revelation (especially regarding attachments and
needs) and the prospect of separating or uniting with others. TaaDaaa,
unconscious material ... releases ..... revelations ....... made
my Science of Mind ears perk.
So what I know is that I may become more aware of any limiting
conditions that could block my sense of wholeness. As I move through
the end of this week I want to remember that all relationships
mirror those aspects of myself that I am attempting to resolve
in the process of being fully accountable and self-aware on this
journey I am taking toward the experience of wholeness. Kinda like
Saint Francis from earlier in the week, remember? Scorpio, more
than any other sign in the zodiac, symbolizes the process of merging
and gaining from the exchange of energy with others. I know that "joining
together" naturally activates life's lessons and serves us
in that it causes us to evaluate patterns and unconscious beliefs.
So my suggestion to you is to make a "thought commitment" now
to embody the perception that this is growth. Learning lessons
will continue as long as we are alive, so seize the opportunity
to get to it today, and do it so that all of us may be served.
Everything, even astrology, is designed to bring us home to our
Source, to our eternal relationship with God. The universe must
need us to transform these places in consciousness, so I thanked
this lovely moon in Scorpio as it was eclipsed and it sounded like
this, "Thank you for bringing me this awareness and the opportunity
to love all aspects of myself."

TREATMENT:
Divine healing is a return to Truth. In Truth, there is no disharmony,
no difference between First Cause - God - and perfect effect. Everything
physical is cyclic, and the nature of these cycles gives stability
and
freedom to the One Omnipresent Life. In this perfect moment, I
acknowledge my realization of this Truth as me.
I forever direct my thoughts to the Absolute, the one transformative
agent that commands my inner world. I am prepared to take responsibility
and make the choices that move me to peace and balance in all my
experiences. I am receptive to continual opportunities that reveal
my true
Heart-of- Spirit in life. These messages surely bring balance into
my
affairs and I awaken to insights, revelations, and higher guidance
as my
true direction is shown. I remember that taking responsibility
for my own
creation is what brings harmony and peace. The One has many stories,
many names, and many descriptions so I take a deep breath and declare,
the best is yet to come!
Joyously, I let the laughter of Self gather within my smiling face.
It is
a good laughter, it is a full laughter, it is a gentle laughter,
it is a loving
laughter and it is the essence that releases my fullness of being
into
physicality. Ha! And so it is.

AFFIRM:
I am what God is, God is what I am!

The potency of pure spirit is delivered through my willingness
to expand!
My body temple is divine substance perfectly expressed!

These words of truth are the affirmative wellspring of my life!

5.07.04 - The
Open Mind
THE
OPEN MIND
by Dr. Ernest Holmes
Dr. Ernest Holmes, Founder of Religious Science and author of The
Science of Mind.
We know that things are not always what they seem. For instance,
the earth and the sky do not meet—the horizon is simply the
limitation of our vision, but not a thing of itself. We also discover
that the hurt has largely disappeared from experiences we have
had, which at the time we were having them seemed very trying.
We know that a two-dimensional mind looking at a cube would not
see the cube; to it, the cube would look flat. Similarly, at our
stage of evolution our three-dimensional minds might well be looking
at that which is four-dimensional or more. So if our gaze is focused
only on the physical, we might be looking right at the spiritual,
the mental, or the intellectual, and not see it. Science has proven
that there are almost infinite variations of vibrations of color
and sound that the human eye and ear do not detect because they
are not perfected enough.
There have been people like Jesus, and a good many others, who
have experienced what we call cosmic consciousness. They have looked
through the material universe into a spiritual universe, and they
have announced this spiritual universe. If we could for one moment
break through this shell that we are looking with, we would see
reality. We believe that there is a Spirit in humans. This Spirit
is God. This same Spirit is in all people, and the Spirit that
is in you is the Spirit that is in me. It is one Spirit, just one,
always one. The Spirit that is in the dog is the same Spirit. The
life principle in the tree is the same thing. There is one Spirit,
but there are different manifestations of it.
This thing that we call the personality is the objective evidence
of the use we are making of our invisible and subjective individuality,
the projection of the power, presence, and intelligence in us,
as us. In other words, consciousness itself is God—one indivisible,
infinite, and eternal reality. Our conscious use of our individuality
personifies it.
I have always held that ideas do not belong to anyone. All ideas
derive from God, therefore no idea belongs to anyone, but we all
have access to every idea in the divine providence. It is like
the figure two. What intelligent mathematician would say, “The
figure two belongs to me”? The mathematician knows that it
is impersonal; the concept belongs to the universe. It can be used
many times and there is just as much left.
We need to believe that reality is already delivered to us—reality
as we see it, according to our awareness of it. This is the whole
essence of spiritual mind treatment. How can we give an effective
treatment if we are just mumbling a lot of words? A treatment must
not be like that. We must believe in our own treatment if it is
going to be effective. How can we believe in it unless we first
believe that there is such a thing as Spirit, and that Spirit is
right here responding to us and expressing as the experience or
the condition we wish to enjoy?
All life is One, and God is the One Life in which we all live.
Even the power by which we measure out our limitation is God. One
of the great fallacies of theology has been the inability to see
that negation and affirmation are identical, and are not two separate
things. This is the hardest thing we will ever have to understand.
When we treat someone for spiritual healing, if our minds do not
get any farther than the appearance, then the appearance will not
be changed. It is only as the mind transcends the appearance that
the appearance can be changed, because a mental concept is the
original causative factor.
In a certain sense we dramatize life. We are thinking, feeling,
desiring, warm, and colorful beings, and I am glad we are, and
I do not think we have to change at all. The great souls like Jesus,
Emerson, and Whitman who delivered real spiritual insight for the
ages have been very spontaneous, very sweet, very simple souls,
and most of them even had a good sense of humor.
Here is the thing that Jesus uncovered: We do not have to become
immortal; we are immortal. We do not have to become spiritual;
we are spiritual. We do not have to become geniuses; we are geniuses.
We do not have to go anywhere—“Neither shall they say,
Lo here! or, lo there! for behold, the kingdom of God is within
you.”
We wish to experiment with this reality to see what we can do with
it. Every time we work for a spiritual healing we are experimenting
to see what we can make the Mind do for us. The Mind is creative
because it is God.
Through spiritual mind treatment we endeavor to more specifically
express reality in our objective life, thus becoming more successful
in every legitimate undertaking. The idea that God is trying us
is all wrong. God is not trying us; we are merely gradually waking
up, and the awakening is what we call a process of evolution, our
awakening to what already is. I do not mean that a building is
an eternal thing, but the mind that built it is an eternal thing.
I think that every temporal thing which is good should be enjoyed
to the utmost, because we are dealing with an infinite Spirit which
by its own divine imagination creates all that is out of itself.
We must think of ourselves as being the way we would like to be.
We do not make the thought creative; it is God. There never was
a human thought. All thought is divine, even though it is divine
in a humanly circumscribed way. We need not look for some other
power; we have power now. It is the only power we will ever know.
Since it is invisible, the essence of reality, it transcends anything
that is visible. The appearance is true and real but not self-creative.
We should forget all the negative arguments, forget all the reasons
why it is not so, and begin to think of a few reasons why it is
so.
To live affirmatively is to live as God lives, so we must plunge
beneath the appearance. Here is where the test comes. We are testing
ourselves to see whether we can forget evil and conceive more good,
let go of limitation and take hold of the limitless, let go of
the appearance and embrace reality.

- This, or Something Better
Have you ever deliberately intended a specific manifestation
only to have something different come into your experience that
left
you uncertain about whether or not this was what you asked for?
For example, you may have envisioned the perfect soul mate, only
to find yourself on a blind date a week later, wondering if this
person sitting next to you is going to be "the one." Well
there is an easy way to be clear about such things.
When we deliberate intend, envision, treat, invoke, etc. we release
that with a willingness to receive "this (the equivalent),
or something better." If you're unsure when something manifests
in your world whether or not it represents the fulfillment of your
word, all you have to do is ask yourself if this materialization
that stands before you is the specific thing you claimed. If not,
ask yourself if it is the equivalent? If not, ask it is something
better. And all that you need to answer these questions is a willingness
to let go of managing outcomes, and just acknowledge the truth.
It's amazing and wonderful how much we know when we stop believing
that we don't know!

with the and the dark, I am one with Truth, and I know I
help to hold the illumination for all who want to see.
I am joyful each and every day and know that this is where

centered balance. I am grateful for my ability to stay grounded
and remain in the moment. I release this to the universe with

- Foundations of Oneness

(question) That is the invitation, and Oneness is the message?
(God's answer) You have no idea how important this is. It is
worth an entire book, not just half of one. Everything would
change if
this idea was "gotten," if
this one thought resided in your subconscious and became your natural instinct,
if this one concept became your operating philosophy, and the operating philosophy
of your species.
Everything would change. Everything. Politics would change, economics would change,
careers would change, your ideas about relationships and sexuality and conflict
resolution and the purpose of all of Life -- everything -- would change. So this
is not a small thing, it is not a say-it-once-and-brush-it-aside thing, it is
a big thing, worth repeating over and over again, worthy of coming back to time
and time again.
Teach this. Teach this. All else will fall into place.
Here are four words to memorize:
We are all One.
Model that when you make your next choices and decisions. Model that when you
make your next moves and plan your next strategies. Model that when you set your
earnings and goals, establish your employee salary scales, make up the sticker
price for the product or service you sell.
Model that when you go into the War Room or the Boardroom or the Bedroom. Model
that when you enter the mosque or synagogue or cathedral or temple.
Model that when you live your life, in every moment of your life, and you will
teach everything there is to teach about the New Spirituality and Tomorrow's
God.

In my deepest meditation I am aware of the One Mind of God.
It flows in, through and about me - it is absolutely everywhere,
there is nowhere, no place, no time it is not present - it is here
and now- in the steady beat of my heart, the rhythm of my breath
-
it is present in Divine Expression.
Therefore, this is God, a magnificent Energy that encompasses all
that is vibrant Life in form, this Divinity of Being is me, as
me, right
now and always. I am blessed and guided in my plans and activities,
I Am One with All. As this sacred energy blends and transmutes
anything unlike itself, I go forth with safety and tranquility
knowing
that right choices are mine. The Highest and Best greet me with
Love
and Assurance as Divine Destiny embraces me. I claim this heritage
from my Source. The Joy, Peace, and Knowing that this is Truth
is
absorbed by my consciousness, bringing into manifestation blessings
that are already mine.
Every aspect of the "I" bows in gratitude to All That
Is. Thankfulness
radiates from my most inner heart as these words go forth into
the law.

- Substance is Spirit
Last
week I had to compose and conduct a memorial for a dear friend
that passed away on top of an already busy week. After spending
most of Friday with the friends and family of my dear friend, I
arrived back in the Virginia Beach area at about 9 PM and stopped
at a gas station before going home. The day had been about saying
farewell to one of the cutest humans I've known, and it had been
a long one, I pumped gas feeling sad and tired. Then, I noticed
a man who looked between 75 and 80 years old sweeping the parking
lot. I thought, this is really sad, here's this older guy, having
to be out in a parking lot working. He's probably alone, maybe
struggling to get by, no doubt he's worked hard all his life, and
now can't even retire and rest. I walked over to him and said, "Hi,
how are you?" He looked up and said, "Isn't it great
to be here? The weather's beautiful. I love being here!" I
talked with him briefly, and he was truly happy to where he was
on a breezy beautiful night. Everything shifted. My belief that
he must be unhappy shattered in an instant. I went on home feeling
happy with myself. He had harmony and success. Every day, I know
something unexpectedly good is offered right in front of me. It
may show up in a totally unexpected way. I know I won't be able
to figure it out and anticipate it. The old man reminded me that
good is operating even in unexpected places, always!, and now I
look forward to the unexpected, rather than fear it. That old man
was sweeping more than a parking lot!

Substance is Spirit. Spirit is God and God is all there is. God
is unlimited power, present everywhere and in everything.
I am the presence of that Unlimited Power. I use this power
today for my own benefit and have dominion over every
aspect of my life.
I have no belief of loss, lack or limitation that may restrict
my life in any way or can obscure the truth that I am a
success right now. No negative opinions or beliefs, regardless
of their origin, have the power to hold me back.
My thirst for success is impelled by Infinite Power and guided
by Divine Intelligence to create a life uniquely perfect for me
in
every way. I know that this life is already complete in Mind and
attracts to it every element necessary to bring it into manifestation.
My life unfolds in perfect order. I have faith that I am success
even
before I see it. I declare that all the good there is -- is mine
now.
I am grateful that I am an expression of God's creativity. I am
complete and perfect, for it could be no other way. I release
my word knowing that it is so.

- Proper Use of Yet
Here
is what I think I have found out. I use the word think in the now-I-get-it
kind of reference. If we find ourselves judging the world or others
harshly and wish to soften such judgments, we can do it without
judging the judgment harshly; in fact, we can only do it this way.
Not judging the judgment harshly means, first, accepting it as
it is, and recognizing that it has its truth. In a universe where
everything at some level is an expression of truth and good we
can afford to release our resistance to the judgment itself and
allow that even our angry, critical, blaming side is trying to
express something valid and good. We can even sit with it since
in Science of Mind we never contradict or otherwise resist what
we want to see improved. Instead, we soften it by adding the little
word yet at the end. "She doesn't think of anyone but herself," becomes "She
doesn't think of anyone but herself yet." "He just doesn't
get it," transforms into "He doesn't get it yet," and
so on. Without discounting whatever discernment the judgment may
offer, adding this simple word renders the judgment generous, and
tempers it with the acknowledgment that we're all students, that
we all can learn and do, and be better.
Heightening our perceptions,

TREATMENT:
The world is a reflection of God's life. This life is ancient and
yet it is
related to me right now! I recognize this Source as my thoughts
and
ideas. As I gaze upon my surroundings, I see the manifestations
of
those thoughts. I witness my own ideas and intentions taking form
around me , specific for me, joined with the consciousness of the
One.
With the capability to individualize the Intelligence pouring through
the universe, I become the bridge that creates visions and insights
of the world I want to see around me now. If I see judgment in
another, I choose to feel acceptance. If I hear gossip, I choose
to
speak God words to those around me. My thoughts today will
come from my inner, ancient, ongoing impulse of praise, love,
gratitude and light.
The world and all who are in it today are good. The story is one
of love. All are to enjoy, an aspect of myself, to be with, to
participate with in creation. God, as all Life, is magnificent.
I
release this truth to the Law. And so it is.

- Self-Help Blame
He
who writes can rewrite.
The problem with pointing a finger at others to affix blame is
twofold:
First, it is almost always oblivious to the effects of blame itself
on the very
problem that the accuser wants resolved; and second, it attempts
to identify
a discrete starting point on a continuum of events that are neither
causal nor discrete.
Remember, we all get from the world what we bring to IT through
the choices we make about who we are willing to be. Our lives cannot
move to higher ground until we do, and we elevate ourselves strategically
by being responsible and using our own consciousness as a tool-of-cause & effect.
From within our own discerning light we can identify our own central
beliefs or intentions that operate behind and in our model of life.
Has it ever occurred to you that when you engage in blaming someone
or something that you are missing the opportunity to engage with
your own creative powers differently? Differently could mean, for
example, an approach that allows you to equate your responsibility,
not with blame, but with opportunity. This week when you find yourself
moving into blame, through the global headlines, or because of
your own internal dialogue see if you can move into a premeditated
approach and recognize that everyone has a story worth hearing.
And instead of climbing on the blame train, take on the big "R" (responsibility)
and begin to create a new story instead of blaming the old one.
Experience the effects of personal consciousness,

TREATMENT:
The universe has evolved rapidly through the energy
of duality. The Perfect Love and Wisdom of God has
allowed all energies to be focused into creation. It is
not my business to interrupt the purpose of creation. It
is simply my place to be the signature of an adventurous
consciousness that knows I am the spiritual magnificence
of the Great Whole. My body, mind, and spirit unfolding
to my uniqueness within.
Divine Order and Harmony are my peace of mind today.
The reality of my being is responsive to my claims of
truth that I easily release any sense of blame, jealousy,
struggle, or fear. I live in trust and open to opportunities
to love out of duality completely. Throughout my day,
I connect with the Christ presence within and become the
compassion and peace I already am. Infinite Mind is my
gate keeper, and love shows me the way. My every thought
and activity is aligned with the patient calm and radiance
of God's love.
I meet everything differently today. . . with responsibility and
gratitude for my part in the Whole. Thankfully, I allow the
universe to play me as an instrument of harmony and delight.
And so it is.

TREATMENT:
Once there was a consciousness undifferentiated and having
a great capacity to love. From within this originating Source there
was a light formed by thought that broke out of that place of
mystery. It had a tone within it which began to direct the potential,
the possibilities, and to begin the process of evolving. I realize
I
am an individuation of this One now named in form. I, the life
of
me, mirrors that One, Creator, Source of love.
Today I place my attention on the pure resonant tone of consciousness
that reflect beauty, wisdom, and compassion. Pure light, mind,
thought,
intention, and information come forth as the forms of this joyful
dance
of awareness of what I speak. I explore living backwards -- not
towards
First Cause but from it. I rest within the creative still point
of universal
serenity and give Mind evidence of the principles I wish to see
brought
into my life story. Rays of high frequency creation start to spin
in a
configuration unlike what I have ever created before. And every
aspect
that emerges from this First Cause purpose has a capacity, a power
given
to it to awaken greater and greater amounts of compassion and love
in
my world. I am an evolved, precious sage of pure thought intent
volunteering
to evolve that which is the Creator's heart intent as my life.
In this I lift the
whole world through my own choice of how to live.
That which is love fills my consciousness with a full union to
devotion. I
am grateful to be that embodiment of Source with feelings and emotions
of everything coming together. A complete union that will never
be
separate again. And so it is. Amen.

- Return to Wholeness
When
you embrace the everyday dramas, you move much more quickly to
the spiritual places you want to be. The mundane, and the chaotic
scenes can be painful but we, your angel guides, say to you now
that pain and discomfort are all part of walking on Earth. Embracing
what is in front of you does not mean that you will keep it. You
just have to accept it in the moment. Embracing the experience
allows you to keep walking. Only by living your limited, mundane,
chaotic, ordinary life is the limitlessness allowed to flow through
you. We remind you that all acts of creation not only express the
self, but reciprocally allow the self to know itself. Every drama
you create, or join in, either consciously or unconsciously, reflects
who you've chosen to be at that moment. And everything you create
allows you to know yourself both intimately and ideally. For today
endeavor to shed some heart-light, without judgment, on your tendency
to use drama as a medium for those seemingly disparate stages of
your evolutionary journey.
And from that pristine summit of higher-awareness you may ponder
on where one was prior to this elevation and reflect on the bigger
picture that is your awe-inspiring nature!
TREATMENT:
There is a Presence in the here and now that is Infinite and Eternal.
I still my body, heart, and mind to relax into a new awareness
of It.
I am still and I know I am God. Right here and right now I can
come
into an internal unity with that Presence, and All That Is is enamored
with the wearing of me.
As Spirit exploring a collective evolution I realize that I willingly
chose to incarnate into a lower-dimensional state rife with duality
and limitation to transform separation consciousness upon this
planet. From this moment forward when I hear the voice of fear's
mantras attempting to inundate me with "I can't" or "I
don't
deserve" I pull back into Spirit's ascending nature to view
this
experience as a valuable creative medium of opportunity. By
lovingly tending to demonstrate from a transcendent Source
rather than ego I transmute the symptom with a universal
knowledge that never has to contend with fragmenting or
splitting. I enjoy all my experiences as life-affirming blessings
that reflect my infinite nature and multidimensional totality
of Self.
With sincere appreciation I find comfort in the fact that all
dramas do not lead to discarded aspects of the self, but
rather to a realization that I am a cherished child of the
universe. And so it is. Amen.

- Doorway to Harmony
"You
can't hate all of a person." -- Martin Buber
There is a tribe in West Africa that understands and practices
this principle. When a member of the tribe commits a crime, that
person is brought before the entire village. He or she stands there
while every person in the village takes a turn reciting stories
about the offender's past good deeds, accomplishments, and contributions
to the common good. Can you imagine the effect in the Mid-East
of an Israeli consciousness suddenly deeply interested in learning
about, enjoying, appreciating the many accomplishments of Arab
culture? The Arabs invented modern algebra, and gave us the masterful
poet Rumi, Hafiz, Omar Kayyam, Kahil Gibran, and many others. Avicenna
(Ibn Sina), and Arab physician and pioneer in astronomy and physics,
wrote a textbook that was taught in Europe medical practice for
700 years. The list goes on. In the same way, how would a shift
in the consciousness of the Palestinian leadership that admired
the great ingenuity, intelligence, and beauty of Jewish contributions
to the arts and sciences, for example, affect the region? Spinoza,
Buber, Einstein, Dorothy Parker, Ayn Rand -- all were Jews. This
list, too, goes on. The point is not so much that we miss the greatness
of all this talent, or these cultural, scientific, and artistic
gifts when we dehumanize and humiliate and fear each other, though
certainly this is true. The point is that dehumanizing, humiliation,
and fear can't exist in a climate of appreciation. This is one
truth, if followed, would be enough to show us the way out of contradiction
and into a new era of cooperation, cultural exchange and enrichment,
and peace.
Imagine if we became a Collective (which I personally believe is
where we are heading) that chose to spend our budget on recognizing
and publicly honoring the formidable contributions of the Arab
world instead of the reactive policies based on fear, distrust,
and violence. From there, each culture could have a turn, taking
its stand before the world village while all that is good and worthy
and beautiful about it is recounted. This is "Universal Consciousness" practice
through and through, and it is what Science of Mind students endeavor
to emulate. We begin at the end and stay there, refusing to forsake
the ideal. We would soon see, taking this course, that we cannot
wage a successful war against terrorism, because war and terrorism
are branches growing out of the same root. The recent events at
Abu Ghraib prison are an inevitable result of a morality play consciousness
that still believes there is such a thing as "they."

TREATMENT:
God is the Infinite Presence expressing Itself as Love in,
through, and all around me. There is no place or person
that is separate from God. In consciousness, I call forth
the feeling and experience of Oneness.
The world is a sacred vessel of Spirit revealing to Itself
the value, appreciation,and love of It's own compassion.
Recently, the world of effect has been trying to come to
some sense of peace, personally and internationally. This
day, just as Jesus, I "lift my eyes and give thanks" for
the
radical lessons at hand. I connect with the greater knowing
that focusing or dwelling on problems keeps them around.
In the Mind of God change becomes possible by shifting
my vision to recognize the unparalleled Light that is
flooding the Earth. I move forward in complete faith that
I cannot improve the world for it indeed is a sacred vessel
of the Creative Process that embodies the attributes of
Spirit. God's greatness is here! I release participation in
events and experiences that simply exaggerate old patterns
of separation and revenge. My God Self now sustains new
visions of Peace, Freedom, and Reverence for Life.
My world, our world, The World is deserving of this good. I
gratefully move from a focus of contradiction to one of
alignment at the level of interconnected partnership with God.
I look beyond the story of the world today and seek something
new -- a world in which people are not afraid to honor the noble,
the beautiful, and the good in each other always. And so it is.

- Living God
Do not
be afraid of where your heart drives you and beckons you to go.
You are a Godling wearing the clothing of humanness, veiled in
the divinity of your celestial nature. . . a vehicles of light
that was birthed to do grandiose things! Within YOU is the love
of the entire universe for Itself. Once you were a seedling and
before that, just a thought. But now your new growth shoots up
from all that has hardened around you in your world and in yourSelf.
Like a small flower that searches for life in hardened lava, that
is what you do. You move forward through things that seem impossible
in order to bloom into the fullness of your destiny.
Wear this anchoring of knowing around you,

TREATMENT:
God is the One Source that blazes throughout the Circle of Life.
I now stand before the Light of God, and all my earthly vehicles
are brought into perfect alignment forming a Creational Vortex
that moves this God consciousness forever before me, in me,
and around me. This creational force is the purity of Divine Love
and It responds to what I speak, what I believe, and what I know.
I Am One with God's Legions of Light expanding the harmony of
Humanity's true Being. The freedom of Spirit fills my physical,
etheric, mental, and emotional vehicles with tones of cosmic
harmony, and draws these bodies into alignment with my God
Self. I allow the Light of God to constantly maintain a state of
peace and calm in my outer mind. Thoughts and feelings that
conflict with humanity's divine plan are instantly dissolved.
My faith lies in knowing that we are bathed in a Power that
only knows the melody, color, and harmony of what is Good
and Great, so that all life will feel at One with the Infinite's
exquisite, prismatic, cascading consciousness.
In deep humility and gratitude, I am saturated with this blessing,
and I fully accept this Truth. I let go. I let God. Humanity and
all life is evolving on Earth. And so it is.

- Shavuot
To some,
it was the most radical event in history. Time's most crucial moment,
the watershed event of the entire human drama. It erupted in a
single earthly place, in a single day, it crashed through the borders
of nation and culture, implanted itself in the minds of thinkers
and the hearts of ordinary men and women, surfed over the bumps
and barriers of time. Until nothing was left the same, no ruler
could set the same rules, no mind could think the same thoughts,
no mouth could speak the same words. The landscape was transformed
and the innerscape of the human psyche could never return to its
former self.
This event was Shavuot.
Once God created this world, he left open channels for communications
with his creations. With every new day, people are inspired to
new insights, art, joy and laughter, deep truths and an urge to
change and rise higher. Then there are those lofty men and women
who experience a whole other realm of clarity, for whom the inner
workings of the cosmos open wide in a vision beyond human comprehension.
We call such people prophets. Once in history, an entire nation
experienced an ultimate moment of clarity, all at once! In that
moment, they perceived the unity of the Creator along with the
oneness of the creation and its purpose and meaning. They found
themselves charged with a world-shaking mission and a set of guidelines
to follow in their personal and social life. They called it, "Torah" --
meaning "a teaching".
Today is the day that the Jewish religion celebrates the birthday
of the Jewish nation. On this day of Shavuot, they received the
Torah at Mount Sinai. It is a day of reconnection -- to the community
and to the wisdom of a sacred teaching. Reflect today how it would
feel, how you would participate, and how you would welcome such
a transcendence of consciousness in modern times. Ask to be joined
to the collective consciousness of the Jewish faith today and help
evoke their belief that the goal is not to get to heaven, but to
bring heaven down to earth for all people.

The Creator penetrates and is absorbed by all things. There is
no
place where It does not apply, no darkness it does not illuminate,
nothing it cannot bring alive because it is THE essence of all
life.
And I am the beneficiary of Spirit's open hand and loving heart.
The Eternal renewing Its face on earth.
Like Moses, I recognize greatness does not live in the heavens
with the angels, or in a parchment scroll in the ark of the synagogue,
or with the rabbis and scholars -- it lives within the heart and
soul of
every man, woman and child. The Infinite is everywhere and in
everything. Today I commit to uncovering a spark of the Infinite
within another piece of the world. Even now, Its echo reverberates
through every moment of my day. The visions, sounds, and smells
of Spirit are branded into the very circuitry of my soul and I
help
forge a new consciousness of Oneness for all people to embrace.
All my works give thanks to the Eternal, may I go forth in your
wisdom to rejoice this day. I look upon my world and know that
your love is everlasting. Hallelujah. And so it is.

- My God Self
AFFIRM:
I Am now the perfection of my God Self grown to
full stature, and I reclaim and accept my personal
Divinity as a Beloved Child of God.
I instantly and permanently release and let to of all
beliefs and behavior patterns that conflict with the
Truth of who I Am.
From this moment forth, I consecrate my life to
fulfilling the Immaculate Concept of my full
Divine Potential.
From this moment forth, I consecrate my life to
reflect Reverence for ALL Life in everything
I think, feel, say, and do.
From this moment forth, I consecrate my life to be
the Open Door through which the Light of God will
continually flow to bless and heal all life on Earth.
And so it is.

- The New Cosmic Melody
The year
2004 is providing humanity with opportunities beyond anything we
have ever experienced. This truth is resonating in every heart,
and people everywhere are beginning to sense the magnitude of the
moment. We have all been preparing for eons of time to fulfill
our unique facets of the unfolding Divine Plan on Earth. Now our
God Selves are calling us to our highest service ever.
Since the monumental influx of divine consciousness that took place
during the Harmonic Concordance last November, our God Selves have
greater access to our hearts and minds. This beautiful aspect of
our own Divinity can now work through us in previously unknown
ways, as we volunteer to assist in the healing process that is
now unfolding day by day on Earth.
Our thoughts and feelings are creative, so it is vital that Conscious
Ones join together to transmute the negative energies being buffeted
about by humanity's fear-based human egos. We are being called
to a new level of Divine Service on behalf of ALL Life. It is up
to those who see the possibilities to hold the powerful frequencies
of pure Divine Consciousness and then bathe all that you see with
this quality of our God Love. It is up to those that are awake
to use your faculties of thought and feeling to imprint new patterns
of perfection from the Causal Body of God onto our field of divine
potential. The divine intent of this mission is to evoke a remembrance
of our Oneness with all life. Your heart commitment and your dedication
to the Light are vitally important factors in helping to transform
humanity's separation from God with the remembrance of the Oneness
that is housed within each God Self. You can use prayer, meditation,
visualization, and breath to perform this universal "community
service" and assist all to be lifted into and merged with
the Realms of Truth that are unfolding our Divine Consciousness
at the speed of Light.
TREATMENT:
As the Light of Divine Consciousness flows in, through,
and around every particle of precious life I recognize that
it is ALL simply One Presence and Power that has always
and forever expressed Itself in perfect and right ways. This
fluid field of unmanifest Divine Potential awakened my
essence within Itself and here I am! Loving and living the
outpouring of pure divinity I know myself to be.
I declare my commitment and dedication to assisting in
Humanity's ultimate awakening and our remembrance of
our Oneness with ALL Life. I demonstrate this vow by
consciously allowing the release of fears and worries that
keep old paradigms and patterns anchored in third dimension.
I join heart and mind with all enlightened souls in integrating
the new frequencies of Divine Consciousness that are
enveloping our beloved homeland. Spirit reveals its new
evolutionary vision of empowerment through our thoughts,
words, actions, and feelings so that the Light of Divine
Consciousness penetrates every person's individual conscious
and subconscious mind.
Thankfully I open and let God pour Its Divine Intervention through
me.
Humanity's collective shift into Divine Consciousness is even more
probable because of the changes taking place within me. Miraculous
changes of planetary transfiguration are happening daily. And so
it is.

- Begin with the End
None
of us is short on desire, that's for sure. And this is good, for
as I tell my students all the time, fulfillment begins with knowing
what you want. If you don't know what you want, and would like
to know, then you really do know: you know you want to know! And
it is a good place to begin.
Once you know what you want, and have accepted things as they are
for now -- meaning that you have put down all resistance and have
stopped trying to get rid of what you don't want, you can take
the next step, which is to "begin at the end." Ernest
Holmes always said you must become the thing you are searching
for. This means you must begin by being who you want to be -- with
who you believe you are going to be.
Beginning at the end, already having in consciousness what you
want, means already being the one who has it, whose identity corresponds
to it. Consider for one moment a version, or an aspect, of yourself
that you claim when you identity with a problem. You want to be
rid of the problem, but as long as you insist on being the version
of yourself that "goes with" it, then you're actually
tying it to you with chains stronger than the strongest steel.
Nothing will cut those chains but your own willingness to BE MORE,
right then, regardless of the facts. You don't deny the facts;
you deny they have any authority. You deny them as a conclusion.
You deny them as your belief. You withdraw your faith in them.
And since the world manifests on faith, the facts must also withdraw.
This is a subtle point: You don't try to get rid of what you want
to change. You accept it for what it is -- the experience is trying
to tell you something about what you believe to be true about yourself.
Just don't allow these illusions to dictate your identity.
Begin at the end. Rest there, stay there, and watch.

TREATMENT:
The One Life is an evolutionary and miraculous experience; its
form arises
from the one formless source of all things, differentiating into
infinite
variety without end. This One Perfect Source is the source of all,
and it is
my source. I am formed from the formless eternal being, and in
me are all
the attributes of spirit that I shall ever need.
As I release any limited thinking, I expect the demonstration of
beautiful
possibilities. By envisioning success through divine right thinking,
all
difficulties evaporate and all of my dreams come true. My life,
my spiritual
journey, works on my behalf and any struggle becomes unnecessary.
With
grace I realize (making real) wealth, health, love and full self-expression.
Easily
and effortlessly, I walk a path of satisfaction and joy, knowing
God is infused
within me as potential and possibility.
The great news today is that my spiritual evolution never stops!
It
continues from within. Whatever my Soul of me is ready to manifest,
that
evolutionary process happens in me. Just as grapes turn to wine,
I am
continually transforming into something rarer, something ever more
wonderful. I continually become more effective in my life, more
loving, more
patient. The perfect qualities of Spirit are revealed in my daily
work and
my daily play, and I give thanks for this ever-unfolding miracle
of
creation, of the ever-begetting of the only begotten One. And so
it is.
